This guy is unbelievable.... going to be a top 3 key forward of the AFL in the coming years for sure. Top 1 wouldn't suprise me! He seems to win every one on one contest with ease. Have we finally found a superstar?

Just watching the WA after footy program with the usual muppets which includes Adrian Barrett (such a girls name) talk about Hogan. Asked if someone like Lachie Neal would be sufficient compensation to get Hogan back to Freo, they said no - no chance.

I'm sorry but neal............HA. There is no-one on Freo's list that would be deemed as sufficient compensation. But that's not having a go at Freo or their list, because i believe that no player from any team's list would be deemed as sufficient compensation.

Not even a fully fit Gary Ablett would be enough to tempt me................far from it.

To trade for Hogan the minimum I would want is 2 top 5 picks or a very good player, If we are talking about Freo it's Fyfe. I have an unusual feeling as a Melbourne supporter but I think Jesse is going to stay with us!

Would anyone here trade Hogan for Fyfe?

Put 50 on the dees at 4$ hulk hogan is a gun and will be for a long time, he has some special traits to him, I put Brayshaw in the same bracket as him.

Hogan & Brayshaw our future

Totally and absolutely disagree ...

... because from tonight's performance you've got to include VandenBerg, Salem, Michie & Newton as our future too. And Kent and Viney. And we haven't even seen Petracca yet.

I wouldn't trade Hogan for anyone, he is the guy we've been missing since Neitz left.

Yes I would. But I still love him!

He's different to Neita, and one of the differences is excitement level.

How many members, people through the turnstiles, is this guy going to bring? Who's going to go next week now?

Hogan is not that big, Matthew Richardson was towering over him during an on field interview, the commentators mentioned it as well, 195cm is way overstated.

Hit the post on half-time siren.

Heart's not in it. Confirmed going to Freo.

But he plays much taller, takes marks at full stretch, he has the complete package. Attacks the ball like Jonathon Brown and strut, has the agility of Nick Riewoldt,

Richo is 198cm so of course he looks like he has that bit of extra height..

Thanks Neeldy. You did something right.

I for one would be absolutely devastated if Hogan is around in 10 years at our club. Freo WC stay away.

The good thing is the media are finally talking about an exciting player from our club.

Hogan was hardly modelling good posture during that interview.

Was slouching and swaying all over the place.

Richo, like all former player/commentators was standing bolt-upright and sucking it in.

That has a lot to do with wide lens distortion and camera angles. Those interviews always position the camera closer and to the right of the interviewer. They use a wide angle lens which makes the closer subject look far bigger than the one slightly further away. If the camera was positioned in front of Hogan's left side the percepted size diferential will be reversed making Hogan look bigger.

I don't think any of us actually thought he would come in and be this good, my phone has been going crazy from mates all talking about Hogan.

have a look at bigfooty. They're all going crazy over him (except Western Bulldogs supporters...cause they have Tom Boyd, who will be better apparently).\

Also, no clubs supporters hate us more than Western Bulldogs. Why is that?

Seeing that Garlett goal makes me think we could almost implement a Hogans paddock. The way he booted it forward and gave Garlett a free run at goal

Hogan's aura was lifting Richo off the ground by a good 6 inches... Just like he does for my aura.

Hogan at one end, McDonald at the other. Fingers crossed the bookends are sorted for the next 8 years. Both could be in the best few key forwards/defenders in the comp. So happy to know they will continue to be developed properly with Roos, Goodwin, McCartney.

Bruce's "Hogan launches himself and takes a beauuuuuty" was just perfect.

He is 195, I met him last season and he was much taller than my 186 (9cm taller in fact).

Richo is 197 but he looks taller because he wears high heels.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.
