Eggzactly also they should be sent back there.....

A Richmond mate invited me to join him at the "battle of the co-tenants". I pointed out that I would be attending a game on Friday night, but it is between a landlord and a one of their feral tenants.

9 changes to the side that played Richmond last year.

Out. Pedersen, Riley, Bail, Terlich, Viney, Toumpas, Gawn, Matt Jones, Grimes

In. Lumumba, Newton, vandenBerg, Garlett, Kent, Hogan, Jetta, Brayshaw, Michie

A different side, a stronger side. And we actually beat them last time (despite 28 scoring shots to 21).

Interesting. I reckon they are all improvements except Viney who we will miss.

Don't kid yourself though, last time Richmond's kicking was woeful and kept us in the game.It won't happen again and this year the Toiges have kicked some good scores 137 against the Lions and 105 against the Blues. Only 66 against the Dogs though who tackled well and kept the ball inside 50....

Bulltish, Saty. The thought was if we went tall, it would be Pedo, and if we went for a mid, it'd be Michie.

I was being sarcastic Billy, the main gist of the posts on here was the bemoaning of Bail's abilities, in comparison to every other AFL player who had ever played the game

Great effort from the Kimberley Coast, nor'wester! Hope it turns out to be well worth your while.

Taking my girlfriend to her first game.

A filipina with no idea about the game, except it makes her boyfriend shout at the TV a lot.

Bought her a guernsey and hat so she can look the part, and looking for the membership tent to sign her up also.

I really hope we dont kok it up, or i have no chance of ever dragging her back to a game.

Where do the Dees fans congregate in an away game? My first game since we rolled the drug cheating scum in the night game a few years back.

Catch up for a beer mate...

That's what we need to do.

Mostly at Punt Rd and some at Waverly for the most part I believe. An issue to address is to reverse the lop sided win loss differential. 30 more wins to them is nauseating.

Richmond's defection from Punt Rd in 1965 coincided with our mostly defective performances from this year.

Really excited for the game tonight. Spending my whole day of uni reading demonland. Already picked out some warm clothes and my best scarf.

Watching the rain roll over from the East on the bureau. Could be a bit of rain - would make our lack of a second legitimate ruck less of a problem in slippery conditions.

Hoping JKH is the sub. Brayshaw to be given a full game and to win a rising star nom after his 15 tackles.. Vanders to avoid the vest purely from a supercoach sense.

While Im confident we can cause an upset, I am worried about being lethargic after last week's long quarters and high stoppage numbers.

And we wonder why education standards have fallen so far in this country..

Breggsy being worried is being a melbourne supporter. worry or anxiety never goes away. only a flag will fix that although there will still be many worrying that we will fall back down to the bottom again. As far as education standards, demonland offers far more than any tertiary institution. it offers a full syllabus on human behaviour and life skills generally. on demonland you have the rich tapestry of life with more characters than an Agatha Christie novel. Your time is well spent.

Hope he does well and has overcome the one way tag.

Now plays in 4 dimensions.

No. I can't see the games very well these days and spend most of the time watching the big screens. I buy my membership but usually watch it on TV. I get to the Casey games because the outer is a great spot to watch and I can see better in the open. Plus Casey have Bacon Rolls.

Just got talked into going. Looking for an epic contest even if I watch the big screens.

    CROSSROADS by The Oracle

Melbourne stands at the crossroads.  Sunday’s game against the West Coast Eagles who have not met the Demons at the MCG in more than ten years, is a make or break for the club’s finals aspirations.  That proposition is self-evident since every other team the club will be opposed to over the next eight weeks of footy is a prospective 2024 finalist. To add to this perspective is the fact that while the Demons are now in twelfth position on the AFL table, they are only a game and a half b

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi
