Kind of looks like something some futuristic army in a sci fi movie would wear. I almost expect them to bring laser guns onto the field.

Reminds me of the old dees silver clash jumper which has been recognised as one of the worst jumpers in history.

looks like the dorks have got the gay membership market cornered

Showing your age there dc. No gays in your village of burwood?

you cant stop the music....

Looks like they have designed a wetsuit so they can swim over to their Tassie games

The AFL's design guidelines appear to have ruined the possibility of clubs developing some very cool clash jumpers from their traditional colours and logo.

So we are left with this bizarre parade jumpers that are a blancmange of spandex colours with no connection to the club, style, or basic aesthetics...

Our away strip is benign, but closer to a Doggies strip than a Demons strip, with little visual appeal.

Should be left to Clubs and common sense (re-visual clash with oppo team on the TV).

If Tight azz Channel 7 broadcast games in HD then there would be no need for these abomination clash jumpers, and that is what they are. All of them.

prolly are moonie. i only check out the blue rinsers (at least those with their own teeth and under 90)

i thought it would be just the gear to wear for the gay mardi gras - plenty of bling

i'd let our mob where something like this if they played LIKE THE HAWKS!!!

Should we return to be known as the fuchsias, Song?

PS. Don't let dc know you misspelt 'wear'!

Posted

yep. Still I think it is even worse than their previous hideous jumper

HawksGuernsey.jpg

Surely that is a jockey's top, not a footballer's.

I would like to see us play Sydney and Footscray in identical uniforms.

At least the broadcasters will then be able to admit they don't know what is happening.

Ok

Watching aints pies

Someone...the logic please

Sainters wearing a jimoer with thonner than normal blocks of colour.

In effect their front of jumper has 2 WHITE 2 BLACK with 2 red vertical stripes with white back

Collingwood ..black white front.with black backs bit all number etc white and lower back is black white stripes.

How in the hell does that AVOID clashing...it accentuates it !!!

THE ACCIDENTAL DEMONS by The Oracle

In the space of eight days, the Melbourne Football Club’s plans for the coming year were turned upside down by two season-ending injuries to players who were contending strongly for places in its opening round match against the GWS Giants. Shane McAdam was first player to go down with injury when he ruptured an Achilles tendon at Friday afternoon training, a week before the cut-off date for the AFL’s pre-season supplemental selection period (“SSP”). McAdam was beginning to get some real mom

RETURN TO NORMAL by Whispering Jack

One of my prized possessions is a framed, autographed guernsey bearing the number 31 worn by my childhood hero, Melbourne’s champion six time premiership player Ronald Dale Barassi who passed away on 16 September 2023, aged 87. The former captain who went on to a successful coaching career, mainly with other clubs, came back to the fold in his later years as a staunch Demon supporter who often sat across the way from me in the Northern Stand of the MCG cheering on the team. Barassi died the

We'll break down the Match SIM against North Melbourne and wrap up the preseason with insights into training and our latest recruits.
