I didn't hang around long but I did see this. Went down like a sack of spuds holding his left knee (I think). Stayed down for a couple of minutes with a few boys giving him a pat on the back/head. The medical team checked him out for 5 mins, he tried to jog and turn on it but picked up his bag and hobbled back Inside. Mark Stevens just got there after but might have some footage of him walking off. To me it didn't look good but I'm no medic.

Going down in agony then pain completely subsiding after a few minutes is not a good sign at all.

Particularly don't like the sound of him trying to do a few turns and feeling unstable.

Ok, will get this out of the way first, Petracca went into a contest with Terlich, from what I can gather his left knee was pushed inwards and he felt something, the fitness staff and medicos were straight out to him, took him off after a while, being a young kid when he got back on his feet, went to test it, medical staff told him to just walk up and down, he did a couple of steps, hopefully just a hyperextension, took him straight off, assume for a scan, let's wait for the official....edit he did walk off, they didn't use the golf cart

Sam Frost pinged his hammy as well

Hopefully they took him straight up to Punt Rd oval to see the Richmond club doctor. I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

If you do a level 2 or worse acl or mcl then a quick medical examination determines a rupture pretty quickly, there is a lot of instability.

If the doctors checked him out and told him to try some turns I'm hopeful that it's not a complete rupture.

Then again, who knows.

I had a complete rupture missed by two seperate physios. Hopefully mfc medical staff is of a higher standard.........?

That's just silly, it was a genuine contest

Frost just a ping, reported straight away, didn't look in too much discomfort, left early

Only Trengove , King, JKH and Jetta (who are both at Indigenous Camp) only ones missing

Lumumba did a little bit and left

Rehab as such White, Garlo, Vince, Neal Bullen, Howe and Fitzy

Watts and Hunt both joined in on some of the drills, emphasis on kicking and running again today

Average distance covered today by players 10k

Any questions feel free

Think it was very tongue in cheek TDI.

Thanks for the info!

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
