Place Your Bets

Well trade week appears to have reached a most interesting point. Rumour and innuendo play a massively important part and we wouldn't have it any other way. If you don't have a source or a line on inside info this time of year, you're a pretender. So with this in mind, it appears one of three things will occur over the next few days. It remains to be seen which poster will survive to receive the adulation of all of Demonland. So place your bets ladies and gentlemen.

Option One: All aboard the 'Chook in Perth' bandwagon. Dangerfield in red and blue. Rejoice!

Option Two: JumpinJeremyHowe - new to the boards, confident swagger; assures us we're serious players in the Beams Battle.

Option Three: They're both full of it.

What'll it be folks????

Or is there a fourth option? Will GNF come through with some late mail?

i don't think anyone has a clue what's going on

club are playing their cards close to their chest and not leaking

I think you're right which is why it makes it all the more interesting when two posters come out and make confident yet contradictory statements.

I bet whatever number option DC's above post is.

In relation to this love the fact that the club is not leaking and is watertight, gives me confidence that whatever happens we are not using a "Scatter Gun" approach. (Stupid DB)

yes dc, BUT what about the club at the other end... silent as well? & the player, silent?

I'm confused, because there are so many smoke screens out there. lay over a film of infrared common sense to see this picture ?

Option one: Can't see us letting Trengove go for pick 12 in return if it isn't for nothing (Considering most players outside of the top 5 aren't worth Trengove), Adelaide and Melbourne have been in talks for Dangerfield, i reckon we have offered Pick 2 + Pick 23, they knocked that back and said they want another first rounder, we've decided to talk to Richmond about pick 12, and what it'll cost us. Also, I really would like Trengove to stay.

Im on the Chook bangwagon. Everyone seems to worship GNF yet while chook sneaks under the radar a fair bit and always is spot on.

Plus Chook doesn't beat around the bush with these ridiculous 'riddles'.

Straight down the line.

I'm backing chook over GNF for sure! Mostly cause I have no idea really of what GNF is on about & I think we'll only land one elite player if any, not 2..... Although I'd really be happy to be wrong about that.

At absolute worst I hope we land a Coniglio-type + pick downgrade for Lever as per the Tyson/Salem trade with one of our early picks.

Cmon it has to be my man gnf. His roos tip must be the biggest scoop on DL ever. Besides which I backed roos on said tip.real moolah.

And despite Bob s protestations ( I think he is jealous) I suspect he was on the money with clark.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
