Couldn't have said it better myself.

Btw, what exactly is a Heretier Lumumba?

Unstable

He's not walking out on the club. He just can't go 12 months without drawing attention to himself.

Harry O....where do we sign.... not this Heretier wag though  like a high maintenance gf ffs !!

As a player my only question would be does he turn the ball over too much and does he get caught going off his man too often? My gut feel is he does but need to see the replays/stats.

Otherwise he seems like he does is very good at zoning off and plenty of run it is just about hitting targets which we need.

Never heard of him

I would cancel my mebership and not go to games if this muppet or Robinson from Carlscum ever play for us.

10 out of 10 for getting his name correct on the thread title.

I like how Buckley calls him H

Cut 'n paste Ox. Wouldn't have a chance otherwise.

That's probably cause Bucks doesn't know how to say it.

It's a big thing for him to think and talk and pronounce words at the same time!!

Anyone got any football reasons for passing, or is it all just personal?

In our best 22, probably.

Right on! Give me Steele Sidebottom any day of the week!

Geez, I wish I had re-read that before posting.....

c'mon.....you had !!!!!

Premiership player still playing decent footy, most want to pass. Fair enough.

My only gripe will be those same people talking up delisted rookies or blokes who can't get a game as players who will, and I quote, "walk straight into our best 22".

Consistency and the off season don't go hand in hand I guess.

My Q would be....whats his real reason for leaving ?

if its as suggested I think he needs to thicken hsi skin a tad. It wonderful to have such lofty ideals but Footy wont provide such a pallette.

If he's looking to just get out of the filth...fine..lets look.

If hes just do far up himself that there will always be another 'concern of his" .......I'd pass

The guy is a sook. So an off the mark comment about two players and Mardi Gras occurred. Stiff bickies! I'm not offended, why should henrietta (yes a mistake of spelling. Deliberate!)?

I guess thats a no DLand has spoken...

What a ridiculous comment!

Happy winning 10 games in 3 years with the current crew?

Robinson and Harry O would be starting 18 players and might come very, very cheap.

We're hardly in a position to say no to a player like Robinson that averages 20 possessions and a goal a game, and Harry O who provides a lot of what we don't have - run, rebound and a desire to bounce and take the game on out of the back line.

I'll be disappointed if we don't interview both.

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.

  • PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

Long ago and far away, the Melbourne Football Club replaced its coach in difficult circumstances after the team suffered a devastating loss. In the aftermath, I penned the following words: “Then came the politics, the intrigue, the axing, the sound of the football world laughing at a club, the circling of the media vultures, the reinvention of history, the anger, the irony, the pathos, the hurt on the face of the president, the dignified departure of the coach, and the determination of the newly appointed caretaker.” Today, we’re back in the same place although one difference here is that the coach who was terminated this time is Simon Goodwin, the man who four years ago

  • REPORT: West Coast

The Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, opens with, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, …”  This phrase highlights many of the significant challenges that humanity encounters in life, ranging from experiencing remarkable highs to living in times of despair. This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.
