I bloody hope so.

I would never say no to donations as I had to spend a bit on 2 days worth of tech support.

You can subscribe by following this link: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/subscriptions/

Or if you are already a subscriber you can donate here: http://demonland.com/forums/index.php?/donate/

Thanks for your patience. Nasher can explain the technicalities.

I wouldn't subscribe again. Last time I paid up as a life member, as I had been using the forum for a while. Without any explanation my I was banned for life a few weeks later, the mods took my money and ran, and about 12 months later I still have no idea why.

Yes, for those who don't have it - it will allow you to use the awesome mobile skin which means it is easier to use and you won't have any ads on either platform.

I really have to pay as spend so many hours between work on this site it's ridiculous.

Is there a way to keep the advertising but? Most times I log in the "date older women" advertising pops up. Now I'm only 29 and have a missus but I don't mind the occasional old duck smiling at me in her little dress.

What was your username? I would like to refund you.

Also if you had a life ban how are you back?

Any give me your details and you will be refunded in full and possibly banned for life again. I haven't made up my mind yet. ;)

You do know that the ads are defined by your own browser searches, page downlads, urls, etc.

If you see something sly in your chrome, don't look at Land...

Username was 'Thomo', don't care about the money, however my issue is that there was never any communication as to why my username was cancelled. I disagreed with this the group-think in the last thread I posted in - I dared to suggest that Rudeboy was not working in the best interests of the MFC and Jurrah would not be at the club in the future (corrcect on all accounts) - then I could not log back in.

I'm going to take the site offline again for 5-10 minutes (and that's all - promise!) this afternoon to take a backup in case it all goes to poo again, around 3:30-4:00pm. I wouldn't normally take the site offline to run a backup but I'm reaallllyyyy nervous about trying to do a heavy database operation (like dumping its contents) while the site is live given the debacle of the last couple of days.

Done. Short and painless - yay :)

I'm not seeing a Thomo on the members list even under banned members. When did this happen?

You can't see your posts because they were hidden and looking at the moderator notes about you it seems it was a consensus to ban you for life at the time. You also appear to have had two usernames running at the same time which is against the code of conduct of Demonland. Still I am happy to refund you the money. PM your PayPal email address and I will see that you get refunded.

The Demonland clock is an hour fast. Must be double daylight saving.

It's not.

You need to go into your Settings and do the following.

I prefer the odd donation. A life member being banned for life is only slightly less humiliating than being a defrocked priest.

Being a Life Member does not give anyone carte blanche to flaunt the forum rules.

Any banned Life Members can have their money back if they wish.

This is not a money making exercise. All funds raised go to paying for the costs associated with running the site. There is a lot that goes on in the background that many people have no idea about.

I hope you said more than that Thomo and this was just the straw that broke the camels back.

I remember thinking the same thing as you but didn't comment at the time. Although rudeboy help liam and I think he should be credited for that, he is a Collingwood coterie member who organised a interview with the collingwood president behind the MFC back and against the MFC wishes.. It didn't sit well with me at the time as rudeboy being around the AFL knew that he should never have done the interview.

    GOLDIE'S METTLE by Meggs

On a perfect night for football at the home of the Redlegs, Norwood Oval, it was the visiting underdogs Melbourne who led all night and hung on to prevail in a 2-point nail-biter. In the previous round St Kilda had made it a tough physical game to help restrict Adelaide from scoring and so Mick Stinear set a similar strategy for his team. To win it would require every player to do their bit on the field plus a little bit of luck.  Fifty game milestoner Sinead Goldrick epitomised

    REDLEG PRIDE by Meggs

Hump day mid-week footy at the Redlegs home ground is a great opportunity to build on our recent improved competitiveness playing in the red and blue.   The jumper has a few other colours this week with the rainbow Pride flag flying this round to celebrate people from all walks of life coming together, being accepted. AFLW has been a benchmark when it comes to inclusivity and a safe workplace.  The team will run out in a specially designed guernsey for this game and also the following week

    REDEEMING by Meggs

It was such a balmy spring evening for this mid-week BNCA Pink Lady match at our favourite venue Ikon Park between two teams that had not won a game since round one.   After last week’s insipid bombing, the DeeArmy banner correctly deemanded that our players ‘go in hard, go in strong, go in fighting’, and girl they sure did!   The first quarter goals by Alyssa Bannan and Alyssia Pisano were simply stunning, and it was 4 goals to nil by half-time.   Kudos to Mick Stinear.

    REDEEM by Meggs

How will Mick Stinear and his dwindling list of fit and available Demons respond to last week’s 65-point capitulation to the Bombers, the team’s biggest loss in history?   As a minimum he will expect genuine effort from all of his players when Melbourne takes on the GWS Giants at Ikon Park this Thursday.  Happily, the ground remains a favourite Melbourne venue of players and spectators alike and will provide an opportunity for the Demons to redeem themselves. Injuries to star play
