I think that the Papal State and the Grand Poo Paas will come to the rescue sooner rather than later.

Err...to help the Australian as well

Lol, "ruined by sun exposure". Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.

Then the Essendon players just happened to be injected with a DIFFERENT substance on a schedule consistent with the administration of Thymosin beta 4?

Fits 'comfortable satisfaction' for mine.

2 years.

That there is no record of ever being purchased or supplied.

Hardie from Deakin Uni is at it again on ABC radio. Getting the Fed Police to investigate McDevitt for criminal act in mentioning Dank's name in an interview.

This guy will attack anyone but EFC.

The fact that he is or was employed as a consultant to EFC doesn't seem to have penetrated the minds of the ABC journos.

It was a similar situation at Cronulla. There is no record of who supplied or paid for the CJC 1295 and GHRP 6 according to Roy Masters. These two drugs were on Charter's shopping list. Masters also alleges that Dank does not appear to have been paid for his 11 weeks at Cronulla. What a bloke - not only donates the peptides, but also his time. The belief is that the peptides were on-sold to Cronulla players via a Kogarah compounding pharmacist.

Dank actually claims that he passed on the Thymosin he got from Alavi to Mimotopes Lab who destroyed it (affected by the sun). Mimotopes deny this.

I reckon ASADA have an air-tight case. They ran it past an independent panel prior to issuing the SCNs.

There's too many experienced personnel involved with ASADA to stuff this case up.

OD I take it your recent cruise did not include any free lunches then?

I will say it again DF

There is not such thing as a free lunch or free anything.

I posted early on that a lot of this had to do with Insurance.Today's Sun has stated that the Bombers could still make a profit as most of their legal expenses have been met by their Insurer.

Just proves they were never properly punished

What a joke that insurance is allowed to cover it

I think WADA ma have something else to say soon in this regard :rolleyes:

I wonder if the insurance companies can claw any back once the dust has settled?

i wonder if their insurance company is owned by toll holdings

insurance companies aren't noted for charity or benevolence. they normally bend over backwards to avoid coughing up

if they are coughing up they must think little's approach is better than the costs of rolling over

never implied there was, bub

the original toll conjecture was just tongue-in-cheek, because i was surprised any insurance company would pick up this deluded lot's waste of money unless there was another agenda

Sorry to hear you missed out on business lunches. You may pay a bit very indirectly, eg. less wages, but the bulk is picked up by customers of your firm or the taxpayer.

Yes that is the first release I posted. The second came out immediately after the big ACCA news conference in Feb 2013.

And what does a failure to ask for reparation have to do with anything? I was responding to comments that the aflpa were soft on drug use

Ok they made some early denouncements.

WHAT HAVE THEY DONE ABOUT IT? What actual actions have the AFLPA taken? Its is now years after the events, and other than some lip flap they have done stuff all.

Edit:- By comparison, what happens in any other workplace? What about a building site? The workers would be on strike in a heartbeat , and the site closed.

I keep forgetting about WorkSafe.

Maybe they're waiting for all the evidence to be brought to light to make their investigation easier?

Surely they too will want to hand down some kind of penalty. They sure as hell would in any other work place.

I was wondering about that too - I suspect that WorkSafe are sitting back and taking note. No need to cloud things with redundant evidence. (At least I hope that is what they are doing - does anyone know if any big wigs at WorkSafe have any 'interests' in EssUndone?)

Dr. Reid is still the club doctor. Unbelievable.

Maybe AHPRA (the current acronym for "Medical Board") are also holding back...pending.

How he can remain the club doctor in all conscience, beats me.

How he can remain a doctor also beats me - failed dismally to act in his patients' interests even when he perceived, or should have perceived, a serious potential threat to their long term health. As I understood it the Medical Boards quite specifically state that the doctors prime obligation is to his patients, and not to a third party payer or to his employer.

The Declaration of Geneva, (modern successor to the Hippocratic Oath) as currently published by the WMA [6] reads:

At the time of being admitted as a member of the medical profession:

  • I solemnly pledge to consecrate my life to the service of humanity;
  • I will give to my teachers the respect and gratitude that is their due;
  • I will practice my profession with conscience and dignity;
  • The health of my patient will be my first consideration;
  • I will respect the secrets that are confided in me, even after the patient has died;
  • I will maintain by all the means in my power, the honour and the noble traditions of the medical profession;
  • My colleagues will be my sisters and brothers;
  • I will not permit considerations of age, disease or disability, creed, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social standing or any other factor to intervene between my duty and my patient;
  • I will maintain the utmost respect for human life;
  • I will not use my medical knowledge to violate human rights and civil liberties, even under threat;
  • I make these promises solemnly, freely and upon my honour.

I get so so sick of the good Hird bad Hird routine . . good Hird (fake tan, blow wave and boyish innocence) "geez guys love to explain but y'know it's before the courts, love the players, love the club . . no, no we are all innocent" . . . bad Hird or the team of bad Hirds ""F" you all, Asada is illegal, McDevitt a criminal, James is a martyr, James has been bullied, James is gonna sue your ass!" ..............

SAY NO TO HIRD!

    UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

    Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
