Just heard on SEN that in the last 7 years out of all the Victorian teams we have only beaten the Dons and Tigers. Is this true? surely not.

btw, what a night... the Dogs would KILL for our forward line they have no one lol.

Must say Dawesy looks good in long sleeves. Don't mind a big key forward with long sleeves reminiscent of Schwarta he didn't mind long sleeves either. Maybe that's where we've been going wrong - after Yze can't remember the last set of long sleeves

Not sure, but I wouldn't have thought so when we won 8 under bailey.

Great tackle Colin Sylvia.

Was fantastic, he was held in the first half and really put the effort in the second half and got the pil a few times.

Some weeks ago I suggested that Melbourne’s player skills were not that bad and indeed would be much better if we had a different coach to Neeld or our players suddenly played for another club.

As a consequence some of this website’s members inferred or even suggested I was both an idiot and too negative about the then current administration

One needs to realise that our players came from the same VFL background as every other AFL player so their skills should not be too different from any other AFL players. Remember Port Adelaide were hopeless last year and look what has happened to them with a different coach.

Yes we still have problems and our skills could be better but watch out if we have a decent coach with a proper game strategy.

Go Melbourne!!

    The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter.
