I'm always on my phone checking and answering emails so I'm covered.

It's the constant need to keep checking that is doing me in. My phone battery is almost flat by 11am then I switch to the iPad.

I'm going cross eyed.

I need help.

Thanks Mark doing well, moving on this morning it's only 5.46am here and I'm up and ready to go.

Great news from the club and hopefully a bit of momentum from here.

My bookkeeper (Bree) nearly didn't tell me she thought I already knew.

In relation to roos and having the discussions with Watts and co, not sure if anyone noticed but the excitement Watts showed after kicking one of his 4 goals tells me he is staying and that the boys know Roos is on board also. We wouldnt have got this reaction from him if he was at his last game for MFC.

I didn't notice because I didn't watch - but sounds as if there is a glimmer of hope.

Although I'm excited to see Paul Roos as coach, Do you think it will be unattractive footy to watch because his Defense first attitude ?

No win could ever be "unattractive" for a MFC fan - none at all.

So another Messiah comes to save the day? You've got to be joking. The whole player group is terrible. Jesus Christ could not coach them to a grand final

If you're an MFC fan and you're not excited by this, you are broken beyond redemption. Quit now before your mental health deteriorates any further.

Roos will not save this group unless there us a big clean out of useless lazy VFL level players on far too much money.

And there will be

Unless you think Roos wants to keep the list as it is? LOL

David king was just on AFL360 and was concerned because of the price tag that Roos is going to come with.

He was concerned that other coaches who win the premiership will not want $900k but $1.00M plus.

King who gives a rats what coaches MIGHT want to get paid.

Could not care less think of something else to biutch about.

And what have we learnt from past experiences relating to coaches and being frugal? "You pay peanuts, and you get monkeys..."

Andy D has not always been a massive fan of Paul Roos.

Didn't he accuse Roos of introducing a brand of football at Sydney that was dull and boring, or words to that effect?

If I remember correctly, it was the year that Sydney won the premiership.

the start of head over competative footy returning... its caught on

.... was it 2004 or 5, when Vlad was into Roos's game style???

Sydney Swans flag 2005,,, prior to the Cats geetting there act together... then they carried the can - 2007+

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
