He went back in the rooms after speaking to Mission. I assume he went to get re-strapped or injected.

Can you inject someone for competitiveness can u?

One thing I will say is this....

There is hope there, believe it or not. Dawesy has put his hand up. Trenners seems to ever so slowly be getting his mojo back. Terlich, Evans and Kent look like keepers (not superstars but blokes who will hang around). Nate Jones ought to be commended. Col Garland and Chip Frawley may make a brilliant backline if Chip hangs about.
But, while the boys might think they are giving their best and are sticking together, they are clearly down on confidence. We need a circuit breaker. Whether we like it or not, the wounds of the battles of 2011 never truly healed. Neeld is the legacy of that year and to make a clean break from that era, he needs to go.

Missing targets costs us so much. It runs or attacking thrusts and puts us out of position when we turn it over.

Watching these posts from Venice and seeing people slam Bail, Mckenzie and some others that Neild inherited, nobody is praising him for having a say in the selection of Matt Joes, Kent, Terlich, Dawes, Viney and Hogan. People would prefer to focus on Rodan rather than give Neeld any credit at all.

Gee we panic as soon as we win possession. I'd rip the under 11 boys for that.

Great kick by Kent to Watts. He'll be a ripper.

I will also say as well frankie, there is a s***load of dead wood in there too. Bail, McKenzie, Rodan, Pederson, will need to be moved on. We can't have blokes we are carrying.

Thats a fair call, i think it just has to do with his dismal strike rate, if he was a jockey he would be riding at the picnics.

Kent is having a real crack like the way is he going and will only improve with a new coach (hopefully)

Couldn't possibly get a 3rd dud as a development coach could we?

Pedersen stuffed up a couple but he has been alright. Kent has just that nice bit of Kent in him doesn't he!! He will be a player. Strauss has had some good moments. I think next year we will thank neeld for jones terlich etc when we are a more competitive. There are enough signs there. One thing noticed more today, a lot more passion when a bloke kicks a goal too.

I'm thankfully not there today, bc on family holiday in Malaysia... But listening and looking at stats, it is interesting to see that we are winning clearances, tackles, closer possession count than usual, and yet being smashed.

I think it demonstrates that we are a team that is on the whole trying to do the right things, but a lot of dead wood and so little class. I feel for the young players and for Neeld.

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

    TRAINING: Thursday 9th January 2025

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan.
