I know Melbourne is currently a basket case, but I hope no one else was forced to endure the barely concealed glee with which Swine Russell and to a lesser extent, traitor Healy, proposed a call-in topic about how no young draftee would ever want to go to Melbourne, and how it would be interesting if you could pick your own club.

Why do you even listen to those blokes, particularly Russell? A complete nothing.

I caught a bit of that, not very well thought out, cut out the AFL cancer Melbourne and GWS, but then another two clubs would take our place, two clubs will always be last and second last, e.g Dogs and GC, he was just trying to stir up a few calls.

Sometimes you just get caught with AW in the background.

Yeah, sure you do. And sometimes you find yourself in a Gimp mask in a B & D room. Hang on, I'll take that back.

Last time I listened to those guys they were at the other end of the dial 1278 I think it was. What happened to them???

you pay money to listen to that crap?

Why?

If I was on foxtel, I'd rather watch a movie.

3AW.

PS: there are about 10,000 hours worth of movie slots on Foxtel every month, but you are lucky if you find more than 20 hours worth of watchable films.

The media stinks at the moment.

Its actually driving me crazy how many are constantly sticking the boots in while we are down.

Denham,Roos,King,Wilson,Healy,Russell....the vitriol goes on and on and on.

I know we aren't great right now, but what sort of sick pleasure do they get making people feel depressed?

Demon hater Healy and his joke of a sidekick belong in an age long passed. They work for a neo conservative right wing radio station full of right wing commentators. That's just one reason why I would never tune in.

Posted

Actually if this is what they proposed on radio tonite it is really a low act by these 2 people. They remind me of the school bullies who take pleasure by kicking someone in the head while they are having a heart attack.

Posted

I just cant stand Dwayne Russells voice, it just has this judgemental tone.

Healy always comes across as the righteous one, he is so arrogant.

I never listen to them.

Peter Bell & Kim Hagdorn were joking along the same lines a few weeks ago saying any parent of a possible top pick would be thinking let leave him out of the draft this year in case he goes to Melbourne. Belly was laughing and saying why would anyone go there

I nearly rang up as my blood was boiling, this is the same guy who left North in 2001 to head to Freo who had won only 2 games for the entire season, short memory he has but I implore you all when the tide turns and it will to never let any of these people Bell, Hagdorn, Healy, Denham, Wilson and the others forget. Criticism is one thing but a lot of them have gone beyond that.

Whilst I know we have deserved our right wack I will never forget these people

Win some games. Stop being a basket case off and on the field.

That's how you get them to go away.

That's the only way you get them to go away.

*sigh*

I for one have hung up on friends, not spoken when football is talked and stopped listening to football media.

Sometimes I wonder if im becoming depressed. Its a challenge to faith. Schwarta's on the couch filled me with hope.

Well if I didn't have a life and listened to 3AW I definatly would have called up and given him a piece of my mind!

I would have told this Healy character that he is not even worthy of barracking for Melbounre. I wonder if anyone brought up the fact that Melbourne is the oldest football club and has a proud history? anyone mention that our home ground is the best ground in Australia? What about the fact that Melboourne is one of the greatest cities in the world? Any football player that does not care about any of that is better of not playing for Melbourne!

One of my favourite footy memories was Ge Healy's first game against us for the Swans at the G. We won. Also memorable for being a double header.

Have no idea why people bother with any of the footytainment shows. Its very rare that anything of import is imparted.

I know we as a club are bad over the last 5 years but the vitriol by some in the media is offensive. I know it is hard for the club to defend itself with all that has happened but it seems no past players nor current administration want to publicly stand up for the club.

We present ourselves as a weak club and the haters will continue with the big stick until we present as a strong club who do not take crap from anyone. I have no idea who has the balls to turn this around.
