I don't have an ill will towards him but I can't say I miss him - he was the epitome of the Bailey years. Could look a million bucks against horrible opposition and went completely missing against any team that was half competent.

Admire his passion for the club though he always struck me as the type who would wear a pink polo shirt with a popped collar.

actually he's Danihers boy, from the start of 2005, when he went well, & then got injured for a long toime, after his first year.

* Bailey had him up N about.

... but his "windmill", may have been a sign of the clubs flukey direction.

its hard for a windmill to function, in a light & changeable zephyr.

Yep that's the reaction you have to all my posts. I guess you're right, it is easier to just post that instead of wasting your time dribbling a bunch of long-winded crap.

DC's only 26? I always envisaged him to be of an older vintage, no offense DC.

Rivers has a suspect knee & ankle. However I was sorry to see him go as he was a genuine clubman. He said he was very sorry to leave the demons ( you can bank that comment from last weekend as 100% accurate) however the rest of the delistings ...couldn't care less... Mooney included !

And the transformation is complete. Just like Range Rover in his dying days, stuie has now become little more than a caricature of himself.

Well some say I'm part horse so both parts could be true...

If I understand you correctly, you certainly have a high opinion of yourself.

Lets see Brent play a game like that against a good side and then I'll be upset the big sook was allowed to leave.

We always knew he could play ... when he wanted to.

Think we will could well be talking about Sylvia and Frawly in the same context next year sadly.

Well Beamers joined the very non-exclusive club of former players who play well against us. Adam Maric is actually the only one I can think of in recent times that has played against us poorly! Hell even $culldog, who doesn't seem to do much through the year, played well last time!

Anyway, I do wish him the best but I wish he hadn't played so well against us!

lol..I'm far from Moloney's biggest fan, but what a crock of [censored]. Who is Neeld trying to kid? I'm pretty sure part of why Beamer left was because he was playing at Casey every second week and was not fitting in under Neeld's plan. Making out like they did everything they could to keep him and placing the entire onus on the player is laughable. You don't leave the club you genuinely love just for money. There was alot more at play on both sides, that was clear.

Maybe the offer we couldn't match was the offer of playing for a coach who believes in him rather than belittles him?

UP IN LIGHTS by Whispering Jack

Those who watched the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships closely this year would not be particularly surprised that Melbourne selected Victoria Country pair Harvey Langford and Xavier Lindsay on the first night of the AFL National Draft. The two left-footed midfielders are as different as chalk and cheese but they had similar impacts in their Coates Talent League teams and in the National Championships in 2024. Their interstate side was edged out at the very end of the tournament for tea
