"The hardest team to play against."

I was thinking just that but "didn't want to be too negative". Hard for nearly two quarters though, it appears from afar.

What happens at half time? Surely it can't be lack of fitness? Who's is the change rooms at half time that is or isn't there before the game? There must be a valid explanation for this??!!

Pep tides beat pep talks?

You morons bagging the coach for this god-awful quarter need to realize that its' the players who are responsible for dropping away so quickly. It might be fitness, or it might be something else. Whatever it is, getting a new coach is not the answer.

They just must win the fourth to get a bit of positivity going into next week's game.

And I agree, it isn't the coach out there getting smashed after a pretty good first half, and it sure as hell ain't Schwab.

I see. When we're efficient, it's luck. When we're not running and tackling, it's the coach. Great logic.

And to Macca, if you want to get me suspended for sticking up for our coach, go ahead.

Mate, look at the stats. Our defensive stats were terrible in the first quarter, we did well in attack, but we were still loose.

Isn't Neeld the man who's meant to be bringing the defence? "Hardest team to play against"?!

Don't call fellow posters 'Morons'. There is no need to get personal. You should know better.

Garland is a terrible footballer, he doesnt use his brain, Jamar should be dropped and were 10 yrs off finals, you can thank D Bailey.

It doesn't change the fact that you're blaming the coach for the bad things, and not giving him any credit for the good things. You're a stats man it seems, and yet you rely on something as ethereal as luck to explain away the inconsistencies in your argument!

I think terlich's game has been better, matt Jones continues to impress in his third AFL game, Colin Sylvia and Trengove have shown some form at times, and Tappscott has not given up all day. Bail looked ok, Clark looks injured.

Evans hasnt been the worst. He looked ok in the preseason.

Evans should be proud of his performance, good solid game.

I wasn't getting personal. I was using a word that's barely offensive to begin with, and I used it to refer to the collective masses who were calling for the coach's head.

I would never call you or anyone else a moron, but I reserve the right to use it against entire groups of people who decide on the spur of the moment to sack the coach after one horrendous quarter of footy.

Why don't we leave the administration to the administrators and just get on with our lives?

I think young Toump would be better served in the 2nds for a while. this could ruin is confidence Watts style.

I think we just arent fit enough or want it enough.

Mark Jamar is a great and loyal player but he needs some time in the seconds. Spencer and Gawn are ahead.

Neeld is meant to be a defensive coach. Our defence was better under Bailey, what does that tell you? You want me to give him credit? Fine. Dear Mark Neeld, those 3 plays where we looked good and it lead to a goal were well done, however, the REST OF THE EFFING GAME where we couldn't tackle or give any effort was [censored] WEAK. "Hardest team to play against" my arse!

Forget Schwab, forget Neeld, forget McClardy... Every membership should get cancelled 'til Jamar goes.

Complete dinosaur. A liability. An embarassing lack of skills and understanding of the game. Goodfckingbye.

Why does Toumpas look so slow?

Sylvia for captain! Lolz.

I'm really worried about Toumpas, I just don't see anything in him yet.

Im not - Wayne Carey looked ordinary in his first games as well.

But playing him now is stupid. he needs time to develop in the VFL.

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc.
