i'm a little lost! how did they deliver us clark? am i missing something obvious? it wouldn't surprise me if i am.

If we paid Scully to stay, we'd never have fit his salary under the cap, and without that we'd never have convinced him to come to MFC.

Oh right, yeah that went straight over my head! anyway thanks GWS :)

Good thing it's not 2007.

I had almost forgotten about Maric's infectious smile.

I think Stalin had whole departments of guys correcting photos just like that one.

Just a bit of Photoshop and we'll have a 100% record in no time!

jeeesus! look at mortons arms! they're friggen twigs! i knew he was skinny but WOW

And the skiiiiinny legs - no wonder he never got through a preseason

I had almost forgotten about Maric's infectious smile.

Actually I prefer his square-gating walking style!

I had almost forgotten about Maric's infectious smile.

I remember when we drafted Maric and we were told it was because he was a deadly kick. Well he was deadly, he nearly killed every kick he had at the club. Small and one of the worst kicks I have seen.

It was actually Morton (10), Grimes (16), Addam Maric, Kyle Cheney and Tom McNamara.

I thank you for correcting me.

Blonde hair and played about the same games.

Are they arms?? I thought he had some spaghetti under his shirt..

Interesting observation that all four players that have now departed are stepping forward on their right foot, out of line with our current captain who is leading with the left. Conspiracy theorists.... GO!!!

Addam Maric has *terrible* posture.

It's an Emo thing ...

Its funny the things one remembers; I vividly remember Emma Quayle commenting that we were the big winners of 2007. How wrong could she have been (mind you we did get a club captain out of it)

I remember the so called experts said we were the big winners in 2005 aswell.

How wrong could she have been

I don't care how wrong Emma is.

Its our recruiting dept I worry about.

Just out of curiousity, did Denham say anything about our recruiting in the National Draft? Be very curious to hear what he said.

He actually said we did very well.

He actually said we did very well.

He did, didn't he. Wonders never cease although he still called us the bears.

I had almost forgotten about Maric's infectious smile.

He must have been having a premonition about his future AFL playing career.

The contrast of the photos 2007 vs 2012 is how developed the 2012 boys are.

My new second favourite club is GWS. Not only did they take the 'fraud' off our hands and his pay packet, but one way or another they delivered Clark, who I doubt would be with us had he stayed, Hogan, Dawes and Barry. And in the piece de resistance they inexplicably handed Jimmy "the gun" Toumpas to us on a plate.

It doesn't get better than that.

Yeah, but look at all the laughs we're missing out on because he's not playing us form week to week.

At last, a thread where we're not at each other’s throats.
All it took was Caro & Morton.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.
