Dawes would be a good get - big bodied key forward, has 6-8 years left. His form suffered from doing the Ruckwork which he wouldn't have to do with us. Still think he might stay at Collingwood but getting him would finally be some good news

well we have to come up with some trade bait without going backwards. Martin is a big strapping lad and can play a a versatile role. granted he had a poor year but I think he can come back hard next year.

End up with Toumpas, Wellingham, Viney and Garlett/Kennedy/Stringer as mids and Dawes up forward. Good outcome.

If Viney goes at pick #3 on the otherhand...not quite as impressive.

yes it is but provided we don't have to use pick 3 on viney we will still have 3, 13, 22, viney(26), wellingham, dawes and anyone else we pick up. sounds pretty good to me if this happens
