Herald Sun reports Gysberts to be shown the door...Neeld has gone mad!!!

I could not agree more. A coaches main role is to get the most out of his players. What ever way you look at it Neeld does not have the ability to do this. He has lost the playing group. I have it on good authority that 15 of our 45 are investigating their options to leave, the exitist will take years of recruiting to repair, we are destined to the bottom 4 for at least another 3 years. Neeld has destroyed their confidence and thus the players ability. What a disaster Neeld is.

Neeld is the worst mistake our club has made since sacking Norm Smith. I have already put money on the Dees for the wooden spoon next year.

The board must fire him leave and leave Neil Craig in charge before more players leave. Who in their right mind would want to come and play for Melbourne.

I beg the board to fire Neeld.

HAHAHAHAHA,

this guy , pantsman and hard whatever his name is have the biggest boner for Neeld. Did neeld nail their women or something. i love it, its so entertaining.

Neeldy is doin' the Spring Clean, and practicing his new responsibilities. May take him a little to get used to, but He'll get the hang of It, I'm sure.

Two things from the cartoon that seem to fit our coach:

1. Daph has Mark Neeld eyes!

2. We are in for one hell of a ride...can't wait! ;)

It's a BIG Job sorting out our Ingrown Culture, & this culture is all about,,,, everwhere. The Staff, the MCC, everywhere, but people won't be aware of it or how they contribute to it.

We'll be trying to quell it for a decade from the club, but Neeldy can do what he's doing with the players & List & try to control it from that End.

We need to start it as he is, but Our young players need to adhere to the Value systems & Behave to the standards... If not they should come clean & speak the the playing group & the Footy dept, & taker whats coming.

This is a monster were taking on, but it's the only thing we can do.

Those already infected & are mostly past there footy, should go to a strong cultured club to see out there time.

When we get this culture thing tamed, we will start to be able to develop young recruits into fine footballers again. Leave the off field careers stuff & hobnobbing, till they're 25 Yrs, please.

You were a fan of Cook weren't you, wasn't you that said he'd be a good player for us? What do you think he has to do to improve?

A work rate that key forwards need to have to be a success, a thirst for the contest, a desire for body contact and a huge amount of improved body strength.

Gee we signed Col to a 3 yr deal in July. Let's trade him.

Sheesh.

I haven't seen a copy of the new CBA, but the previous version had a clause that you could not trade a recently re-contracted player. I'd assume the clause would continue in the new CBA.

So does this make it another pathetic and ridiculous Hun rumour?

My understanding is that rule was pretty toothless and just said the player had to agree to be traded - which they have to anyway.

Yep, You might be right.

Anyway as jnrmac mentioned, if he was only re-contracted 2 months ago, so why would either party have changed their mind?

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.

    THE HUNTER by The Oracle

Something struck me as I sat on the couch watching the tragedy of North Melbourne’s attempt to beat Collingwood unfold on Sunday afternoon at the MCG.    It was three quarter time, the scoreboard had the Pies on 12.7.79, a respectable 63.16% in terms of goal kicking ratio. Meanwhile, the Roos’ 18.2.110 was off the charts at 90.00% shooting accuracy. I was thinking at the same time of Melbourne’s final score only six days before, a woeful 6.15.51 or 28.57% against Collingwood’s 14.5.89

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t
