Our passengers are weighing us down.

Can't wait for that broom..

Well passengers tonight were

Watts, Trengove, Sellar and at times Grimes decision making and execution cost is dearly.

Happy for the broom to sweep them out?

I try to care about everyone's opinion. Morton's soft, there's no denying that. But he played well tonight, which was better than last week, which was better than the week before. As long as I can say that about him every week, I'll be happy.

I actually really loved his last quarter last week, and was hoping that was the penny dropping. Guess it may be a slower process. Definitely played better than what I would normally expect, just waiting for the day when he knows when to go in hard and when to hang outside.

I get your point, maybe I am marking him harder, or maybe other people are forgetting we took him with pick 4? We've just been so beaten down as supporters that our expectations are really low I think.

I hear you but reality is we need to continue to put everything we have into supporting him. If we don't we effectively let that pick 4 go for nothing. I personally think we are seen Morton progress under Neeld.

I can forgive developing players my ire is usually set on one or two. I think people know who I think needs to go. I actually think Morton was ok tonight and that's big for me.

We NEED another small forward BAAAAD!

How good was Jonesy and McKenzie! Tommy Mac.. I see a lot of positives tonight, not all doom and gloom. But I'm always upset after a loss, weekend ruined!

The fact that our worst players tonight are our three most promising young players (plus Sellar), is either very worrying or extremely good for us, depending on the way you look at it. It could be a sign that they're not developing properly, or it could simply be the worst night of the careers of three fantastic young players (plus Sellar) to come.

I thought Morton was ok in conditions that don't suit him, he gave us a bit of run that has been missing and he did get involved with some good tackles.

Tommy Mc did the job tonight, I thought he probably should and would have been dropped but by playing him the selectors showed some faith that we here often don't. Get more games into him and Morton and the like and these guys may reach their potential and become the players we want them to be.

Totally agree BIG positives tonight. Love the games of all you mentioned as well as Magner and Bail.

Would serve him right. Hopefully he's banned cause we don't need that kind of rubbish here. There's enough angst floating about.

I think Morton did enough to deserve a recall. Watts however needs to have a hard look at himself cause frankly he was [censored] poor tonight.

Really missed Clark tonight. Good effort but still no chocs

Disagree. Was not a night for the big guys so he would have been a liability.

Subbing Dunn off instead of Sellar was a bad move. Happy with Morton's effort.

I was [censored] off with Tom Mac's really lazy efforts. Got sucked in at times when St Kilda got the overlap, left Roo on his own close to goal.

I had a knot in my gut all night. We won the footy, had more possessions, covered Goddard and Riewodt, and ran out of the backline with gut running but we made some unpressured turnovers or mistakes that tore the heart out of the game and must have taken a toll eventually:

Moloney's open goal miss

Howe's set shot miss

Jordie's running free kick straight to the Saints = goal

Trengove playing on so stupidly

Rivers and Bate booming kicks into our forward line to three-on-one

But I loved the effort, the discipline, and the sense of mongrel.

Bit harsh on Tom Mac? He is playing his 6th game on a match winner? Yes he was a liability early but after first qtr he was excellent.

HEAVEN OR HELL by The Oracle

Clashes between Melbourne and St Kilda are often described as battles between the forces of heaven and hell. However, based on recent performances, it’s hard to get excited about the forthcoming match between these two sides. It would be fair to say that, at the moment, both of these teams are in the doldrums. The Demons have become the competition’s slow starters while the Saints are not only slow to begin, they’re not doing much of a job finishing off their games either. About the only th

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k
