I've been watching the Pies getting touched up by Carlton and I'm finding it very upsetting to see Eddie grimacing every time the camera pans onto his tormented face and body. The bloke came to our help last week when we lost EnergyWatch and his impassioned pleas for a new sponsor eventually bore fruit for us.

Bottom line is that we should be grateful to Eddie, bow, scrape and genuflect before the great one.

But now that it's his club that seems to be on the nose, it's our turn to come up with ideas to help Eddie and his great club to overcome their moment of adversity.

Any ideas as to what we can do to help?

Well , we can send Eddie and Nathan off to the 'Easter Islands' . They'll probably look familiar to the locals so they'll fit right in .

As for their fans . Stop all centrelink payments . The money we save can pay off the Greek national debt .

We at Melbourne can help ease their salary cap pressure by offering Cloke a new home .

That'll do for starters !

I've Got It! We can give them a referral to Radar Rileys, 'Gamestyles to the Stars.... Encapsulating reading from within a 'thinktank'.... If they can read small writing?

Maybe we can get Eddie a gig on the next series of Excess Baggage.

At least he tried. He could teach that work ethic to a couple of our players. What about the "great" Travis Cloke, who couldn't take a mark to save himself? I would have preferred Dawes' performance over Cloke's tonight.

We can give them Morton, Green, Davey, Moloney and our last draft pick.

Maybe send him a proven coach..I hear Bailey is available.

He's too busy being a fantastic assistant coach at yet another successful South Australian side.

Chook, surely you're kidding. Yes, he performed one good chase

Chook, I looked at the DT totals and in that respect you're right but I reckon it's deceptive. Not once did Dawes look remotely threatening.

Agreed. Not many Pies did, and all the while Bucks was going mental and I was loving it!

I think we should pass the hat around to see if we can help Collingwood find an experienced, proven premiership-winning coach, which is clearly what they are most in need of. :)

we beat them in the NAB cup and we are bloody awful

if only that footy had sat up for milne late in that drawn grand final, their window would have opened and oh-so-sweetly shut, but they pinched one

Maybe we could pass the hat around to buy him - A massage with a happy ending!

Might be the only way he is going to see a happy ending at a Collingwood game soon.

    TRAINING: Wednesday 12th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
