At least Col has had great games in the past against Collingwood and Hawthorn, Moloney goes missing when we play good teams. They both need a rocket to either fire them up or fire them out the door

I don't have an agenda, I have my opinion on both Col and Brent neither will help this club go forward unless they can produce there best footy each week and not just when we play weaker opposition. I have already stated CoL and Brent should be left in our team till after queens birthday, if they can't start playing well against good opposition don't give them games against GWS, Gold Coast and Port

I couldn't care less what it teaches them, they both need to pull their respective fingers out start playing good footy against good teams or get on their bikes, these two blokes should be setting the tone for their younger team mates if after all this time in the AFL system they can't move them on why they still have some sort of currency.

Obviously not solely based on this year. He's been at it long enough to know whats required to become an elite player. I don't doubt his ability so it leaves me with just one conclusion. His history of incidents "off field" don't do him credit either.

Moloney lied about his fitness. Sylvia needs fitness at some level or another. I'd be putting him in the VFL to gain match fitness though.

I wouldn't, he's had 3 games back now, he has copped a bake this week about it's no longer about his talent. He's going to have to fulfil it and show Neeld work ethic, second, third efforts and intensity through tackling, etc and gaining possessions. He has to prove to his coach and himself of what he is capable of - more often. He must start against Sydney. The 3 games back should have him ready to go now.

I think Sylvia's biggest issue and the reason he will never be an elite midfielder is the chronic OP that he had.

I don't think he is able to do all the running required and has to make do being a forward flanker part time midfielder.

I maybe be wrong the OP might now be a non issue.

Col said himself it's a non issue. Strategic strapping of the hip's had taken away any pain. Article published around 2009 I think.

My opinion is that Col has all the talent necessary in his armoury to be a top 20 footballer in the AFL.

He wouldnt be top 200. So to me a disappointment.

And to state the opposite I dont think Nathan Jones has the talent to be in top 200 footballers but in my opinion well and truely is in the top 100.

So what does that say about the 2 footballers ?

Dont disagree...if was to give Col the full benefit of the doubt then I will rephrase and say that is disappointing that he has never been fit enough to be a top 20 AFL footballer.

I think it is a bit of cop out from someone 8 seasons in though.

Aalong with the above 2 the other member of the fab 3 from 2001 Luke Hodge has never been able to realise his full potential as an on baller for sufficient game time due to his OP issues. David PARKIN says it has affected Hodges career and whilst he is a very good player the OP stopped him reaching his full potential

Heard Bomba Thompson on the radio this morning saying Essendon would be happy to look at Sylvia but only at the right price; he feels that other clubs will blow them out of the water though.
