Bennell is another good example - plays well down back as a running linkman for Casey, comes into the Dees, plays as a sub who gets to spend time as a small forward when on the ground.

Possibly the worst kick at the club, which is something of a (dis)honour given there is sincere competition for that title.

The rest of his game, though, I love. He seems a natural defender, like Rivers. He can read the play nicely, he holds his own even when giving up weight and/or height, he's courageous, and he also has an attacking bone in his body. I love seeing him peel off his forward and push up the wing. Of course, he can get burnt on the turnover, but I like that he has that attack to him.

Hopefully the kicking will improve. Even if not, he's still a great young prospect.

Certainly not the worst kick at the club, not even close whilst Bartram remains on the list. He's a similar kick to say Nicholson who under more pressure will make more mistakes but when in time and space is more likely to use it well. I still think he'll end up a forward. His size, endurance and marking lends more to CHF and with Watts looking more and more like a CHB it just makes sense to me. I've got no problem with him down back whilst the midfield means that's where the ball is.

watching tonight and i see alot of Harry Taylor in Mcdonald personally. Frawley can play the Scarlett role and Mcdonald takes a more lock down role imo
