Sorry but i dont see any humour in it at all whatsoever. No one should be laughing at it.

No no - you've missed the funny bit. The funny bit wasn't the OP. The funny bit was your reaction because you thought it was real!.

Geddit?

This is situation is sh1t !! I've cppped enough I've had this sh1t. Dark day in our history, Where do we go from here? I can't believe people are even trying to laugh or find a positive

We're all hurting right now and each of us cope with that differently. For some, humour helps. If you don't like that, you're welcome not to participate.

And let's be honest, this thread isn't side splittingly hilarious, it's just a few chuckles to lighten up a very dark day.

Remember mid-season 1998. On the MCG v. Geelong: It was 15 goals to zilch just before halftime, then Lyon got our first goal. We ended uposing by 120-odd points. The next week the Saints killed us, again on the MCG, by 85. We ended up 4th on the ladder, and beat the eventual premiers, Adelaide by 48 pts in our first final.

Remember the huge thrashing by Fitzroy late in '79. The next week we came out and beat the Bombers by 5 goals.

What I'm saying,(and desperately clinging to), is that things can turn around.

Don't give up hope, Demon supporters. It's the rotten days that make the good days better. And they WILL come.

if you can't laugh at us now..when can you laugh at us....

we are a laughing stock......I know i am laughing at how utterly cr@pola we are

I have to admit I began to laugh whilst watching the last quarter. The extent of the domination and our utter atrociousness had become amusing.

You have nailed it on one there DC

Very hard to run a footy department when half of them dont speak to each other.

Sure all will be revealed in 6 weeks.

Half the fd aren't talking? Care to elaborate? As for anyone thinking this thread is SERIOUS hey get a grip it's called SARCASM. In times of extreme misery humour is more important than ever.

We lost to Geelong by 95 and St.Kilda the following week by 85. Today's margin was bigger than those two games PUT TOGETHER.

Thrashings happen and teams bounce back. But this one will take a while to get over. The scars will be there a long time.

After all is said and done, it's still just a game. We may as well laugh..

You're seeing a lot of nonsense on here?

I think that if you're not fuming after today's loss, you're exactly part of the reason why the club hasn't won in 50 years. Everyone should be blowing steam out of their ears. We partly pay these people, dedicate our time, heart, passion to them, and there is a continuous lack of urgency, passion, absolutely no heart. Norm Smith left a long time ago indeed.

Who the HELL tries to look for positives in a 180 point loss?

I mean, why should we keep it positive? Because the club has been the pinnacle for success? lulz

How the hell could you take the op seriously????? Read it!!! It's a [censored] take.

    FROZEN by Whispering Jack

Who would have thought?    Collingwood had a depleted side with several star players out injured, Max Gawn was in stellar form, Christian Petracca at the top of his game and Simon Goodwin was about to pull off a masterstroke in setting Alex Neal-Bullen onto him to do a fantastic job in subduing the Magpies' best player. Goody had his charges primed to respond robustly to the challenge of turning around their disappointing performance against Fremantle in Alice Springs. And if not that, t

The Casey Demons won their first game at home this year in the traditional King’s Birthday Weekend clash with Collingwood VFL on Sunday in a dramatic turnaround on recent form that breathed new life into the beleaguered club’s season. The Demons led from the start to record a 52-point victory. It was their highest score and biggest winning margin by far for the 2024 season. BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an
