As I wrote in the other thread on this, Redlegs argument seems bullet-proof to me. If he is named he cannot have concussion (unless Adelaide are silly enough to break the new direction), hence less force whatever the outcome of the rest of this baloney.

My only concern would be how forceful was the AFL's lay-off next week for concussion directive? Must rest, or should be rested?

Adelaide have tabled a new medical report as new evidence stating that Dangerfield has trained well and suffers no lingering effects. Not sure it will change everything but surely a better start.

think you'll find its ultimately at doctors discretion (AFL "recommend" 1 week off)

I believe it does. The AFL decreed earlier this year that no player should be played the week after getting concussion.

Sorry Redleg, but you are not correct. The new concussion guidelines state that a concussed player is not to return to the ground on the day of the concussion.

What happens the following week is dependant upon the recovery. ie fully recovered - can play. Still symptomatic - can't play.

If Dangerfield is asymptomatic at rest and post-exercise, and his neuropsychological test has returned to baseline, he may play.

Should be straight to the supreme court tomorrow for an injunction. Don't care if it is ultimately unsuccessful but we need to make a stand. The afl have always shafted us. I want its to fight it.
