Barely missed a game in 30 years, its irrelevant the state, parlous or otherwise of our clubs onfield and off-field fortunes.

Youve got to be there to support your team, its always the highlight of the week for me getting to my seat. Heck, theres a guy that sits behind me who's 95 and there every week. I hope I have his staying power!

Are you interested in getting your 5 seconds of cheap fame or are you going there to actually support the side? I dont care how sharp or witty you might think your sheet will be. Its an hardly an attempt to support the Club. And if you think its positive incentive for the Club then its a pity.

The Club and the players are down and its easy to get on forums, facebook and email to be critical of the Club. Its a lot harder to stick fat with the Club. This is a challenge for the players and the supporters. If the Club dont turn it around in the coming week then players and officials should and will be held accountable. But it should be through the parties responsible for doing this. Not the cheap knee jerk lynch mob mentality which has dominated this Forum for the past week.

They said that this club didn't stand for anything, that it wasn't worth holding on to, that we should move to tassie or the Gold Coast. If ever there was a test of what the players stood for, it was that day. They needed to show that they loved the club half as much as Jimmy does. We won by 10 goals. In a season when we finished bottom and won four games. And Junior and Flash carried Jimmy's old jumper off the ground at the end.

I still believe in these players and this coach because Jimmy still does. I know they'll turn it around because of the way they played that day in 2009. Other people can do whatever they want; it's not for me to tell other supporters how to act. But it seems silly to me that, having saved the club in its darkest hour, the fans would not get behind the team now. That they wouldn't turn out in even greater numbers, make even more noise.

So, in answer to your question, yes, I'll be attending this Sunday. And I'll go every week because I'll love this club forever, unconditionally, and I'll always believe in it.

Sniping and cutting people down takes us backwards.

I don't believe there actually was anything "easy to say" about exposing the fact that destructive criticism (about a woeful performance) can never ever lead us out of the wilderness.

It's just the wrong language and the wrong way to go.

If we moved past off with his head, we might actually come up with some good ideas.

Don't worry Harry, the MFC supporters want this club to be strong again..The last 5 days have proven that.

I think the supporters are just going to make more noise about it though, and if that means the club has to toughen up a bit...so be it.

I'll be going on Sunday because I want this club to survive, succeed and flourish. The love of football and a football team is built on hope and promise. The emotional roller coaster is part of it. There will always be drama. Yes I would like the Dees to be a consistently great team but the fact is, they are not at the moment. I, like every other Dees supporter, was gutted and deflated after the Weagles game. It seemed like the worst performance in the last three years because we now have the players with potential. I am still not convinced that Bailey is no good. I've seen enough to think that he may know what he is doing. He still has the remainder of the year to establish his credentials.

This Sunday is important. The most important game in Bailey's coaching tenure to date. It is even more important to the club and those players who performed poorly last week. I don't subscribe to the idea that the recruiters have got it all wrong and all of our draft choices have been second rate. I do still think that Morton is soft and we could have done better but I've seen enough of the rest to think that we have a potentially great list. So this next week begins the rest of the season and the future (a statement of the bleedin' obvious, I know).

Its the opportunity for people like Davey, who we know is brilliant, to overcome his recent tagging problems. for Frawley to find some confidence, for Watts to continue that kind of angry demeanour that saw him go harder last week, for Jurrah to chase harder, for Moloney to recapture the great form he has showed, for Grimes to begin to take them on again etc.etc.etc. Do we really think that these players are no good? I certainly don't. I will be there hoping like hell that they can play with skill, passion and team cohesion and that we will begin to trend upwards again.
