Sounds shite, like what they do for world cups but over the coat of arms, around the neck sounds tacky.

Gee I hope it looks good cos this could be a hugely terrible decision.

we only have one posters "rumour" on the stars - I doubt it will happen - sounds daft

It is not a rumour. Sports retailers receive samples of changes for next season, and I've seen first hand a sample guernsey for next season.

The new 'home' jumper is white WYL. The stars will be red & blue depicting the premierships.

The 'away' jumper will be what we, in the past, would refer to as our traditional home jumper.

It seems to me that we wear the away/clash/sh!t jumper more & more so they club have made a good decision in reversing the strips in an effort to wear red & blue more often.

Quit it DH i am at work.!!!

OK - can you describe it a bit more?

could you do us a favour and describe to the best of your memory the changes ...cheers

And for what it's worth, I love the fact that the MFC will have a constant reminder of our success depicted on our strip. The stars are not obtrusive and all and actually look fantastic. New Balance have nailed it.

Compared to reeboks guernsey, the red seems more vibrant and the blue a tad darker. The sides of guernsey (rib area) incorporates meshy material allowing air to flow through it, whether this is advantageous at all I cannot say? As I mentioned to earlier, the major changes are the stars and the new logo on the chest. Supporters will love it.

How's the fit of the jumper? Loose and baggy like the old Reebok ones or well tailored?

Still can't picture the stars

How big are they?

What colour?

Do they go right around the neck?

5 pointed or 6 pointed? (just joking)

Sounds nice. As long as the core design is kept intact, I'm happy with anything that reminds us of history and success, as long as they're not overly intrusive. I liked having the Demon logo above the Primus logo in 2004, but I don't think the marketing team then, or now, liked that 90s Demon logo - it wasn't a very appealing logo and I can't imagine it being very appealing to prospective investors/advertisers. I'd much rather have the new logo anywhere on the jumper. Stars sound like a great idea. I'm sure some pro teams around the world do a similar thing. They also do it for the World Cup kits, and it blends in perfectly. I have a feeling that the core jumper, fused together with the new logo and stars will look great. I can picture it definitely.

This is from the Ticketmaster site where you can order youth jumpers for next year.

My only gripe is that the AFL logo crosses over the red yolk to the blue. One of the things I liked about this years jumper was that the AFL logo was within the yolk, it meant that the design of the jumper wasn't intruded upon as much.

True. However, the jumper doesn't really look as though it's drawn to scale. The AFL logo and Hankook logo's are almost touching! However, having said that, has anyone noticed how the AFL logo is almost on the SIDE of St Kilda's jumper???

Will wait and see...

i like the collar look, adds a bit of the old school theme, just hope the colours come out well :)

dont like the melbourne emblem above hankook

it shouldve been below it like other clubs have.

But we're not other clubs. I like it above and reasonably small, as shown

Evidently the experience with the previous supplier was less than examplary. Worth noting, Port who also wore our previous suppliers gear, only got their 2010 stock in late AUGUST.

You can go in to the Demon Shop and see different shades of blue and red on ostensibly the same jumpers.

I think this is the consequence of making the yoke sharper. Compare the pre-90s jumpers to the bigger broader designs in the late 90s - '00s.

The jumper as it was described to me by the a person at the club, was that it looked more... galdiatorial. The shoulders look accentuated, the colours, deeper more traditional. We are one of New Balance's first clients when it comes footy jumpers, so it's a big trial for them.

Lets hope the New Balance can deliver the goods.

Is that red? Coz it looks Crimson to me. Monde, can u confirm if the final product has this grape juice colour to it? Or is it red. That ain't red people. Copy it to paint and then colour test it. See what you think.

These are pictures and the colors will be somewhat different when the jumper is in the hands. I think the red will be darker as will the blue, which I do like.

Love the emblem being there. Never mind moving it up or down, it would look better without the Hankook logo's but of course these have to be there.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
