Alen Jakovich kicked 10 vs North the year the Southern Stand was down.

Didn't Ox kick 10 v Footscray in the 1994 QF; maybe it was Lyon?

Yes Jako kicked 11 in '91 against North in 3 quarters.

G Lyon kicked 10 against Footscray in the '94 semi final.

I remember Garry kicked ten against the Dons one year, or am I mistaken. Might have been nine. Either way, I was at the Footscray final, very memorable.

Could have been. Jako was totally in the zone that day!!! Been a long time since i watched it.

He was reported during the match as well!!

Didn't Jako and Andy Lovell both kick 8 against tiges????

Correct Round 21 1993.

He kicked 8. But he was memorable against the Dogs in 1994. He was taken off early in the last quarter with a niggle.

Correct. He kicked 11.8.

He brought up his 50 goal in his AFL career and it was only his 9th game. Unreal.

He should have kicked 15 or 16. I am have never seen a one man show like it. Ox and Farmer have gone close but not that at that calibre.

Jako's soccer goal at the Punt Road end is still one of the best ever.

Sadly that night Peter Daicos kicked 12-13 up at carrara against the Bears so Jako's feats were a little over shadowed in the media. was always a bit peeved about that!!

Allen Jakovich was the most unique player i have seen. When "on" he was breathtaking.

I always considered him to be the Jimi Hendrix of AFL. A Flawed Genius who's career burnt so bright but was gone too soon.

I hope Jako gets down to the MFC one day-he sure left his mark on the place. Number 13 really suited Allen.

Neitz kicked 8 or 9 against St Kilda in 2005 or so IIRC.

He kicked 9 against Carlton in 2002 and 9 against Richmond in 2004.

He kicked 8 against North and St.Kilda in 2006.

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
