i dont care what people think this bloke is in our best 22! reads the play so well and his pressure is fantastic. dont 4got this bloke killed it in the all stars game and also the intra club match booting four goals. i am petrified on how much trouble him and jurrah could cause.... no really!

and if people 4got how good he is check this out

please aussie stay injury free and entertain us again!!

Hell yes Howie. I cant wait to get him up and about causing havoc. Especially since he is trimmer now and has more "Brothers" around him. Forgive me if I am mistaken but didn't he also take on a mentoring role ? The added responsibility plus the slimmer frame will make for exciting times ahead.

Ohh I am seriously salivating at our forward line. Throw in Tapscott and Slyvia who can roost them from 60 and we have options for goals that we haven't had for years. Also before anyone cracks it I am only suggesting they have a ping from 55 plus out if there are no targets.

The option will present itself quite frequently given that all of our forwards are of the "roaming up the ground" type. Don't be surprised to see them playing as link men and handballing off to the running player at around the 70m mark.

completely agree.. i think everyone forgets how good this guy was in his first season.. i know it was only a few games.. but he has a lot of potential!!

not playing last year and getting over shadowed by jurrah people have forgotten this.. i am always amazed when reading peoples 'future demon team' and they leave aussie out of the forward line!

Aussie has passion, and most importantly he has HEART. The little guy can pump up the whole ground when he kicks goals & celebrates. I love this kid.

THE MFC forward line is starting to taking shape, there will be a few worried defensive line real soon!!! GO THE DEES.

Needs to be quicker than he was. It looked like he would be, given the reports of his fitness in the pre-season, but then he broke down and didn't play a senior game for us.

As I said in a thread earlier in the year, I can't remember whether he can play or not. I do remember that I changed my mind 100 times during 2008, but too much water has passed under the bridge since he last played.

Clean slate 2010 as far as I'm concerned.

The thing I remember most watching the games from level 4 of the G is how well he read the play, and moved to the right spot inctinctively ALL the time. I remember vividly a goal he kicked against Collingwood, where he was running back towards the goal and intinctively cut inside, leaving his oponant for dead, and him free to take the ball on his chest and boot the goal from 40 on the run. Bring on 2010

exactly what i remember too. what i liked about him was that he seemed to me a genuine crumber, who read the ball off the top of the play. he didnt have amazing pace, or super clever tricks, but he read it well. hopefully he continues on from where he left off, is a very promising player.

Yes I reckon he can really play, really knows how to but the ball to teamate's advantage too.

I'm hoping modern sports medicine can get him up because I had a similar knee cartiledge ingury 10 years ago and despite an arthriscope it really never got better despite being told it would be fine in 10 weeks

His 2008 was a tale of 2 stories.

Was exciting in some of his early MCG games and was good for 2-3 goals each week. However he had no impact in his last half a dozen games - looked tired.

Can't wait to see him in the same fwd line as Jurrah!!

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,

    GALLANT by KC from Casey

The world “gallant” is not one that is readily acceptable to losing teams in our game of football so when it was used in the context of the Casey Demons’ loss to Sandringham in yesterday’s match at Casey Fields, it left a bitter taste in the mouth.  The Demons went into the game against the St Kilda affiliated Zebras with the advantage of playing on their home turf (not that this has been a major asset in 2024) and with very little else going in their favour. The Saints have close to a full

    MEANWHILE by Whispering Jack

… meanwhile, at about the same time that Narrm was putting its feet on the accelerator to obliterate the long-suffering Euro-Yroke combination, I heard someone mention in passing that Kuwarna was leading Waalitj Marawar by a whopping 46 to 1 halfway through the second quarter of their game over in Adelaide. “What is football coming to?” I asked myself.  In front of my eyes, the Demons were smashing it through the midfield, forcing turnovers and getting the footy to their forwards who w
