The Dees are set to take Picks 1 and 2 in this years draft.

Fremantle are 5 goals up on Port Adelaide at quarter time. A Freo win will see them a two games clear of the Dees. Even if we knock them off next week at the G we will still be stuck on the bottom.

Not wanting the wooden spoon it looks ours. Bring on Scully and Trengove!

Pre season Pick 1 too! Great bargianing pick for gaining that trade or listing an uncontracted player for free...

3 Years of pain at the bottom of the ladder will soon be forgotten.

With the talent that we have already collected and with the addition of quality players in Scully and most likely Trengrove the future looks bright

Correction picks 1 and 3, pick 2 should be going to Freo I Thought it would be Scully at 1 and Butcher at 3, didnt Bailey say we want an elite mid and a Key Position?

No .....We will receive Picks 1 and 2

Providing we don't win more than 4 games

Carlton in 2007 got priority picks 1 and 3 no team gets 2

Carlton finished 15th. if we finish on the bottom we get 1 and 2.

Picks 1 and 2 would be an absolute dream come true.

The MFC is going to be very popular in trade week.

no we won't. Our top picks are un-tradeable so no club will even enquire about them.

Priority picks were originally not tradeable. I think that changed some years ago.

Though you may be saying that it is our policy not to trade early picks. Amen to that!

This day will go down as one of the most influential in the history of the MFC.

Scully, Trengove, Watts, Jurrah, Grimes.

F*#k me!

Also word is Sandilands wants out of Freo, so they may offer him for pick 2? Personally I don't think he's worth pick 2.

Morton

Can play but don't think he'll be as good as those five. Mind you though who knows how Cale will turn out, has the potential to be anything.

Freo 17.14.116

Port 11.7.73

Ouch.

I would take Picks 1+3 over 1+2 and wooden spoon any day of the week.

We'll probably get thrashed by Freo next week.

PSD pick 1 shouldn't be forgotten.

....And thats one reason why.

We wont be trading pick 2

Theres a reason why its called "winning" the wooden spoon (especially this year) and theres a reason why the man at the top is called The Great Dean Bailey

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov

WAYNE WUSSELL'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Rehab: Lever, Spargo, McAdam, Lindsay, Brown Sinnema is excellent by foot and has a decent vertical leap. Windsor is training with the Defenders. Windsor's run won't be lost playing off half back. In 19 games in 2024 he kicked 8 goals as a winger. I see him getting shots at g

Demonland's own Whispering Jack was not in attendance but he kicked off proceedings with the following summary of all the Preseason Training action to date. BEST OF THE REST by Meggs

Meggs' Review of Melbourne's AFLW Season 9 ... Congratulations first off to the North Melbourne Kangaroos on winning the 2024 AFLW Premiership. Roos Coach Darren Crocker has assembled a team chock-full of competitive and highly skilful players who outclassed the Brisbane Lions in the Grand Final to remain undefeated throughout Season 9. A huge achievement in what was a dominant season by North. For Melbourne fans, the season was unfortunately one of frustration and disappointment
