The main problem with our forward line is positioning.

That is exactly right, our forwards have no idea where to lead or even to stay in the forward line. If they can start leading straight up at the ball then hence we get an easier shot at goal. However I do not think Ricky Petterd should be our number one go to man as he has been. Forwards are recruited to kick goals, not stand on the wing and get 15 posessions I do not care if they get a heap of the ball they are there to kick goals and that is why we are not winning.

After what I saw today, I`d say we are a chance. They turn the ball over more than we do and i have never seen as many Out of Bounds on the full in the history of AFL

We were sitting directly behind the goal at AAMI stadium, it is the kicking not the leading,

Example Bate led from the square at 45degrees towards the kicker, kicked ball goes towards boundary line, result Bate trying to change direction at full speed and defender backing back.

Example last quarter Bennell led from the goal square straight, nobody saw him go and was free all the way to the 50, lead ignored and kick went into the pocket

Example Miller did one lead, doubled back and led again, kick went over his head to defender

Good example Bennell looked up outside the fifty and saw Miller moving to his left, put kick that way and Miller took good mark going away from the defender.

You only have to look at Richo and how frustrated he gets for Richomnd when he does some great work only to see the ball either misdirected or ignored.......at least our players don't show it.

Personally I think we have a good chance of winning, I always do..........

Based on the round 3 efforts by MFC and RFC we definitely are a chance to win! Both MFC and RFC played absolute ##%& in 2nd quarter and lost their game then. So pretty evenly matched in that regard!!!

Would prefer the media to get off Plough's back though as all the pressure may make the Tiges play better!! His self declared month is not up yet & they play North and Swans after us. MFC needs everything to go right for us towin on Sunday..they can get the knives out afterwards!

Sure I'll bite and say we're a chance. Will go in as underdogs but if Richmond serve up an effort much like they have for the most of the season so far, terrible turnovers etc, we might find ourselves in the game into the last quarter. I'm excited. Not sure why, but I am. Looking forward to the game.

After Watching all of yesterday's game i really hope we beat Richmond. They are a joke. The Bulldogs were awful as well. Richmond had no leadership or structure after the first Q. If we can kick to Targets and play to the standard of our second half against the Power we are a big show. Drop Sylvia immediately-He just doesn't care.

Can you imagine the papers next week if The Tigers Lose? Bring it on.

IMHO ... its all about pressure ... if we hit them hard an early get a lead ... their internal pressure and self-belief must play on the back of their minds.

The Doggies gave us a good lead on both - How not to play the Tigers ie 1st quarter - Then - How to play the Tigers ie pressure their ball carriers

We have been exposed by bursts continuous pressure and bursts of highly effective attacking play from opponents.

Richmond wont be able to hurt us enough in their periods of ascendancy to seal the game.

But we can't pretend they are going to be a pushover either.

Do you know I actually thought we kicked 14.7 at the weekend, I must be mistaken, our scores are getting better each weekend.....totally agree we do not have a superstar who can come out and kick a bag, but if we have a few who get one or two what is the difference?
