he isnt really that quick high tower, or evasive. he just goes hard at the footy, and at the man, and has pretty good skills. he is pretty quick yes but not that i've even checked the draft camp results but i doubt jetta got in the top 10 for any of the tests. happy to be corrected.

I think we could use a player or two hat stand up in a contest. He seems to do that. Give him a few years to put on some size, work in some Byron like bumps and we may have a presence on the ground. Looking forward to seeing him play. I spoke to someone who watched him in the final and said he had him among his BOGs.

i have a feeling whelan will fall in love with this guy! he will take him under his wing and in the future we will see a clone of him laying bumps doing strong aggressive tackles

he is pretty fast and he will get quicker.. sorta reminds me of chance bateman in those clips!!

Yes, certainly keeps his feet from what I've seen.

Would be pretty handy getting his cousin Lewis along.

Lewis is an explosive midfielder from Swan Districts in WA.

Reminds me of Andrew Lovett with his serious leg speed and field kicking - already averaging 15 possies per game in the WAFL.

Have a look at his run down the wing around the 38 second mark of the vid. :o

What about Nevilles games this year.

Im very happy with the way the little fella has been going.

On the weekend against Port, there was a play on the Wing where i reckon he gave 5 to 6 efforts in one go,

with his final effort diving for a tackle which caused the port player to muck up his kick.

It was sensational.

What a champion Jetta has been for us. I have a feeling once the dust settles he'll be announcing his retirement but is sticking with the team until our 2021 journey comes to an end. At his best Jetta was a fantastic defender and one of few leaders to stand out and stick tough over the past 15 years. A great role model for our younger boys, indigenous or not. Thank your for service Neville

Love Nev!

Thoughts turned to him again as the Jim Stynes award was announced on Sunday. Worthy ex-winner and a champion Human.

Nev is not being spoken about enough.

At the forefront of the culture change at the club.

Persistent, tough and selfless.  At his peak was almost never beaten in a contest.

Love this man, embodies the new MFC, hope we can keep him around the club in whatever capacity.

I stood next to his dad (not knowing that fact) one night at Docklands. We got chatting. Just a ripping bloke.

Easy to see where Nev gets his down to earth, humble approach to life.

Im sure the plaudits will come Nev's way absolutely deserves and will remain at the club in an off field capacity working with our young players/ indigenous culture.

Jones and Nev are ingrained in our club culture and its important that they are found roles if they wish to accept the clubs invitation.

    BOILED LOLLIES by The Oracle

In the space of a month Melbourne has gone from chocolates to boiled lollies in terms of its standing as a candidate for the AFL premiership.  The club faces its moment of truth against a badly bruised up Collingwood at the MCG. A win will give it some respite but even then, it won’t be regarded particularly well being against an opponent carrying the burden of an injured playing list. A loss would be a disaster. The Demons have gone from a six/two win/loss ratio and a strong percentag

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
