The sign Filth cheer squad held up at the end of the match.

Dear god indeed!

Dunn should consider going into witness protection after his altercation with Didak today.

ALSO, who hit Warnock to cause his bloody eye?

I heard it was somebody's fingers, however i didn't see it myself, i heard comments from people with binoculars from 150m away.

Jaded, it was definitely, "DIDAK, YOUR MY HERO" Haha scum, absolute scum. They honestly dont have a clue. Wanted to use season deerailed last year, but chose against it but couldn't use it anyway. Today was a joke, no one cared, yet they'll still [censored] on about it.

Mind you almost blew a top reading them telling us to get off "our" ground, but then thought better, they're scum. We're the original Melbourne team who have beaten the Scum in 6 grand finals. They can go fcuk a sleeve

I don't believe it.

There is no way they used a comma.

I feel sorry for both you and your son. Maybe these jokes can cheer you up:

Q. You're trapped in a room with a tiger, a rattlesnake and a Collingwood fan. You have a gun with two bullets. What do you do?

A. Shoot the Collingwood fan - twice.

Q. How many Collingwood fans does it take to change a light bulb?

A. Seven - one to change it, five to moan about it and make excuses and Mick Malthouse to say that if the umpire had done his job in the first place the light bulb would never have gone out.

Q. What's the difference between a female Collingwood fan and a Pit bull?

A. Lipstick

Love it!!!

I moved at Half time to get away from a bunch of loud mouth gits.

I found a somewhat unusual Collingwood supporter to sit behind who made a fair bit of sense and often turned around to make friendly and sporting banter. He was missing most fo his teath though...

I have a Collingwood supporter friend who totally cracks me up. He refuses to go to Collingwood vs. Richmond games because the Tigers supporters are so "feral". Yesterday was the first Queens birthday game he has been to for a while because they always lose and the Melbourne supporters are too loud. Go figure.

I saw that sign from the MCC Reserve-Looked all faded to me and i couldn't read it. But i can't imagine the Filth Cheer Squad washing it too many times!!!!

"Get off our Ground!" Way back the MFC was a financial Backer of Victoria Park, so as they would have their own ground. We the Demons must get Nasty again and reclaim what is ours....Go Jimmy Stynes...

i was sitting a couple of aisles away from the collingowod cheer squad and when i saw the sign i shook my head in disgust.. also them booing when the 79 retired players went around that was trully uncalled for.. atleast show respect for the players who actually made the grade.. dont think any ex collingwood players would be happy to see their cheer squad booing past players.. pathetic.

Ox was looking old though lol

In 2007 I saw a an 8 yr old kid dressed up as Joffa. It was the most rediculous and discreditable thing I have ever seen in my life. He had a gold sequence jacket on and a silver mullet wig. I just don't understand how any parents (even collingwood supporters) could condone their kids looking up to Joffa. I mean who would aspire for their kids to end up like that creep?

I was reading this thread and thinking to myself "why am I not getting angry and posting a snide slap at the pies?

Then I realised... Malthouse's comments, and the crowd being oh-so-witty... It's just Collingwood crap, isn't it?

Every week MM or Eddie or their filth supporters come out and do something silly, have to make a story out of nothing, get Collingwood in the papers SOMEHOW... It's all just part of the show. And it's like reading a comic. I completely dismiss everything I read as soon as it's clear the relevance is only to the pies.

It's actually the reason, I reckon, people like to pick on the smaller clubs. We are NOT in dire straits, we are just smaller and poorer than Collingwood... we have grown every year (pretty much) in memberships, and in the last 10-20 years we have expanded, as the other clubs have, exponentially. Just because we haven't expanded AS MUCH as Colingwood, everyone seems to think we've gone backwards.

MFC fans are in my experience, predominantly less likely to get sucked in by the garbage that goes on in the media. Essentially what I'm trying to say is that while I don't believe at ALL that MFC supporters are wealthier, we really are better educated (a recent poll showed the proof of this), and as a consequence have more varied interests...

CFC supporters have one avenue of entertainment it seems, MFC supporters on the whole... to put it simply... have lives. This is both a good thing AND a bad thing...

Did anyone see what the sign the Filth cheer squad held up at the end of the match said?

I was up a level and behind it but it looked something like "now we have won the match get off our ground". The security guards were keen to get it off them so it must have said something inflammatory. If it was what I thought it looked like they are really are the morons that people joke they are. They certainly look like the base level.

Is that the one they brought last year and didn't get to use

Didn't see it because I don't have eyes in the back of my head but any sledge based around telling us to get off the ground is laughable. One thing Collingwood fans should know by now is you can't change history such as a fist full of lost GF's to Melbourne or the fact that the MELBOURNE C.G. has been our ground for 150 years. They have been a tennant for about 7 or 8 years.

From what I could see it was words along those lines. Pricks!

Anyone get a close look at the fight in the MCC members?

I got a close look at that fight in the MCC Reserve. I was in the same bay on Level 1; and all these people stood up so naturally I had to have a look. It was between a young (20 ish) Melbourne supporter and a 40ish year old man, who was wearing no club colours. I have no idea what the fight was about. There were some others involved. The 40yo man was taken with the St. Johns people; appeared to have been punched a few times in the face, then returned with a MCC Staff member who moved his family to another location (there were 5 or so of them.)

The young demon's supporter was originally asked "Membership Card or visitors ticket" then taken downstairs with some security officers. A few minutes later he returned; however before even getting back to his seat 3 Staff Members and 1 security officer were on him and escorted him back. He never returned.

The banner that was held up said "Season Dee Railed; Now get off our ground" and was orignally aimed towards the MCC Members; then to the AFL Members.

Didak (i think?) also made a gesture swinging his head in a circular motion 4 times towards the members after the last Collingwood goal.

    DELUGE by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons overcame their inaccuracy and the wet inhospitable conditions to overrun the lowly Northern Bullants at Genis Steel Oval in Cramer Street, Preston on Saturday. It was an eerie feeling entering the ground that in the past hosted many VFA/VFL greats of the past including the legendary Roy Cazaly. The cold and drizzly rain and the sparse crowd were enough to make one want to escape to the nearby Preston Market and hang out there for the afternoon. In the event, the fans

    INSANITY by Whispering Jack

Somehow, the Melbourne Football Club managed it twice in the course of a week. Coach Simon Goodwin admitted it in his press conference after the loss against the Brisbane Lions in a game where his team held a four goal lead in the third term:   "In reality we went a bit safe. Big occasion, a lot of young players playing. We probably just went into our shell a bit. "There's a bit to unpack in that last quarter … whether we go into our shells a bit late in the game."   Well

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last
