  1. Can the moderator please contact me for assistance as I have had to login in under a new user name

  2. The club appears to still be hemorrhaging and stalling. I kinda hope this would have all stopped by now and we can concentrate on moving forward.
  3. HIGH-profile sports administrator Paul McNamee has been dumped as chief executive of Melbourne after only four months in the job. McNamee said today he was disappointed that the new board, headed by former Demons champion Jim Stynes, had decided he was not the right man to run the AFL's oldest club. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl...6-19742,00.html
  4. Well done guys. Turned up there with the misses for a a couple of beers and was great to see everyone enjoying themselves. Watching the 2002 highlights on the big screen made me realise, just how far we should have gone that year. With players like, Scotty Thompson, Jolly, Bizzell, Peter Vardy, Powell, TJ, Chells, Schwarter plus plus etc etc all on fire., we really underachieved that year. Do yourself a favour and go get a copy of that years hightlights....and you will agree. BB
  5. We need to do everything and anything possible to secure him at the end of the year!!!
  6. And one of them, without mentioning names is as soft as marshmellow...
  7. Was good, but my only criticism is that the club padded out ther affair with alot of players who had very short careers and certainly not "legend" or "hero" status.
  8. "Malthouse took aim at the Dees, who were inspired by Saturday's 150th anniversary dinner. He said he was bemused that Melbourne had been able to play with such intensity yesterday, but rarely in most games this year." - MALTHOUSE QUESTIONS DEMON EFFORT Mick Malthouse is a tool of a bloke suffering from small man syndrome in a very big way. Sorry but the Queens Birthday clash is here to stay!!!
  9. To the Melbourne Footy Club, the greatest footy club in the world, Happy Birthday and congratulations on reaching 150 years old today. It certainly has been a rollercoaster ride, especially for me over the last 40 years and I thankyou for all the good exciting times I have experienced and as hard and frustrating as it has been, I have been there there too to support you during our dark periods as well... Enjoy the day today, and all I wish for from today's game is to see some genuine passion, pride in the jumper and some good old fahioned hardness. Go Dee's.... See you all at Fed Square later this morning
  10. AFL CEO Andrew Demetriou says Melbourne could lose the blockbuster Queen's Birthday match if it draws a crowd of less than 60,000. http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/sport/afl...4-19742,00.html Gotta love pricks like this guy who sinks the boots in when you are down!
  11. I'll be there from 10.00am onwards and might even try to sneak a couple of bevvies in over at Y&J's before the procession to the MCG!
  12. Agreed, that is an asbsolute blooody joke. The guy was awesome and had so much raw talent. For me he was one of the best full forwards on the park for the Dees during that time.
  13. Bode and C Johnson very very lucky! No Holland or Juice... Oh dear.
