Just wanted to know what people's thoughts were on DB expecting (or hoping really) 70,000 people at the game this Sunday... I'll be going and I know quite a few people who are too but I can't imagine a crowd that big (it'd be awesome if it was cos its our home game = some $ to the club).

Hope to see you guys there (not that I know what you guys look like... maybe if you wear red and blue so I'll know to look out for you lol) ;)

I was really annoyed by Caroline Wilsons totally idiotic comment that 'our home games had only drawn small crowds'.

We've only had one, Hawks Round 1, yes? 40,000 ish?

Now Carlton, and we're looking at 40,000+ again.

And I'll be there! Finally getting to make the trip, and I'm stoked.

Na, the Bulldogs game was our home game. But it is true what you say, we've only had one home game this year, I haven't actually read the article properly (just skimmed over it this morn. on the way to uni) but perhaps she was referring to our home games last year...?

Carlton supporters will be coming out of their caves after last week so with good weather I think 42,500. I just hope MFC supporters are motivated after the canning we have had in the media so far this year.

Lets just hope that our supporters turn up and not shy away just because they think we will lose.

We need our supporters to be there rain, hail or shine, win or lose. confidence or no confidence.

One thing for sure is that I'll be there.

Do the research DD, our home game attendances are poor. And dont fall back on the Collingwood games. See the numbers against interstate clubs and NM that are not inflated by opposition clubs.

There is too much nit picking of good journalists article while completely missing the message.

We probably will get 40+K but about 30,000 will be Carlton.

Carlton supporters don't live in Caves? ^_^

They live in Grotto's.

I'll be with a bunch of die-hards in M50 - come over and say g'day (we will be wearing red and blue so you should be able to find us)

70K? Does that include split personalities??

The Carlton fans will be out in droves, still cannot see a crowd getting over 55k. Dees supporters are a rare enough breed when we are a top 4 team. We are rubble at the moment, so ony the die hards/sadists (yes, that includes my goodself) will be there.

70k is out of the question. 50 would be a good turnout. Fingers crossed for the club that we do get 50+, the funds will come in handy, as the membership numbers are not really going anywhere fast.

I think we will get over 50,000 but 35,000 will be Carlton supporters, that will help fill our coffers but won't do much for the players. We seem to have trouble attracting over 15,000 Dees supporters to our games unless they are ones against Collingwood.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

    TRAINING: Wednesday 11th December 2024

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
