That extra week cats had in there legs certainly didn’t hurt either

Flagmantle’s problem is clearly too many MFC players in their side

I think jackson easily balances out the others.... Wish we still had him.

Yes. The boys should go over there next week with NO Fear

Run them hard on the big ground

I love Omac still but gee Neale gave him a bath today.

Notice how the teams that played last week run the games out.

Not really

The Blues got overrun badly in the last and should have lost to the bottom team

otherwise it’s mostly better teams winning

Just shows how bad the blues probably are, the fact the teams that play round 0 vs teams that don’t is 7 wins 0 losses over the last 2 years isn’t something to ignore

I see Mr potato in Omac still plays like a new born giraffe.

Bizarre hes lasted this long. Imagine having height as your one wood.

It can be something to ignore if you justify it as I did above

Freo choked due to immaturity and lack of mental toughness, not running out of legs imo

they are like the terminator T1000. they just keep reconstituting themselves

Would you rather have someone defecate on you or vomit on you?
Hard knowing who to support in Coll vs Adl

swans picked up where they left off against Carlton

Lions missing half of their team in fairness

I learned me lesson after Tim Lane’s infamous quote “the days of domination are over!” in ‘08.

Swans well on their way to another Grand Final smashing.

Pathetically soft effort from mcvee.

Enjoying those midfield minutes at freo champ??

Crud Mc Shizzen, plus he LIED TO GHOSTY !

Pies and Lions not looking good

I thought playing round 0 was a huge advantage??

*slightly tongue in cheek to provoke response

Wouldn’t have thought it would be too hard between those teams.

One can only hope. Their fans are just about the most smug and arrogant supporters when up and about, yet they continually choke in the most important game of the year.

Brisbane is playing Sydney, who also played last week. No advantage.

Collingwood’s already taken the lead but let’s see how the game pans out.

Maybe the lions are facing the cliff, early days but played last 3GFs won 2 and continued finals for 5 years has its toll

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
