3 way trade.

Future 3rd for Clarry goes to Hawks, CJ to us, Clarry to Giants.

Trading Clarry for CJ somehow feels better than for a future 3rd

Just love this

Slightly amended

Let's offer to take CJ for a future 3rd round pick โ€ฆ but ask Hawks to pay half his contract!! Whoโ€™d ever be that crazy ?!?!

Better than frost for sure, people saying he is a bad kick are over blowing it, heโ€™s an average kick in the same way most of our team are.

For me it's more his decision making.

But hey, if people want to be excited by another club's fringe player, great.

Seems to get the ball OK, but a turnover merchant ... kicking + decision making not good.

Hopefully he can improve with a change of club.

Nowhere near the class of Hibbo people.

Pig was a most under-rated player by many.

The pure joy, extasy, honour that he exhibited running around with the cup is permanently etched in my memory.

Good luck in your journey with the Dees C.J.

Most super fast guys are poor decision makers, itโ€™s up to coaches and team mates to get in the right spots so the decisions are clearer and to live with the fact their will be errors but theyโ€™ll be 70m down the line.

Geelong just made a grand final with Bailey Smith doing exactly that.

Disposal Efficiency- 78%

kicking Efficiency - 73%

And he can run and carry old55, possible replacement for the Judd. Iโ€™m warming to him hope it comes off.

A terrible comparison.

I never looked at it that way, but kind of makes sense in a roundabout way.

Yay, another fringe player.

Dear God, I hope not. Lumumba was the worst recruit I've ever seen walk through the front door of this place (and I've seen plenty of shockers).

You've not paid attention then.

Watched some of his clips on You Tube, for some reason could only find footage from the 21/22 seasons. Some of his kicking was all over the shop but there was some decent delivery by foot at times. I might be in the minority but Iโ€™m excited for next season.

Sam Frost is also back on the market. Make it happen Deez. HB line of Frost, TMac, CJ will have the oppo [censored] themselves in '26.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: # 1 Steven Mayย

The premiership defender has shown signs of wear and tear due to age, and his 2025 season was inconsistent, ending poorly with a suspension and a noticeable decline in performance. The Demons are eager to integrate younger players onto their list and have indicated that they may not be able to guarantee him senior games next season, in what would be the final year of his contract.

The young key tall failed to make progress during the season, with a decline in his goal kicking output. His secondary role as a backup ruckman, which may have hindered his ability to further develop his game, and he was also impacted by the team's poor forward connection. It will be interesting to observe his performance under a new coaching regime.
