Please not be us..

We have just gotten rid of Jack Billings. Dont need another.

Are we trying to do to Gold Coast what Freo do to us??

Just now, whatwhat say what said:

he goes a lot harder than billings

He's a lot better than Billings. He and Flanders for Trac yes please.

He'll be 28 next year.

He doesnt improve us at all.

Ainsworth and Flanders with a swap of draft picks sounds about right.

28 is not old.

Agreed. He’s found his ceiling at afl level and that is an ok player who’s about to be overtaken by of the suns 6 first round picks of the last 3 years.

Exactly.

The highest he has kicked in 9 seasons as a small half forward is 25..

Again, he doesnt improve us at all.

Not in favour of getting him. He’d automatically qualify as our 2nd best small forward, yes, but he’s not competing with much

And he is very average

If we manage to turn Humphrey and Flanders into Ainsworth & Flanders, it would be the most Melbourne thing of all.

Just asking for a friend....

Are we shopping for Casey too ??

? If Flanders turns us down

? If Humphrey turns us down

Farrrrk

Then Ainsworth and pick 6 from the Suns ??? I need more - pick 17 too?? Closer !!

If we end up with this guy and pick 7 for Trac, I think I’ll spew 🤢

too much like spargo, the HF that doesnt really impact scoreboard or with ball in hand but bobs up every 6 weeks with 3 goals to keep the selection heat away

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
