This thread is nearly as bad as the training ground thread for going around in circles and repeating itself.

Which is driving us all around the Fishermans Bend.

He can't fall back on kicking goals or being an aerial threat.

He is a HD Holden competing with a new Mazda 3.

He’s in Sydney and I’m in Sydney…if he touches the aerial on my Mazda 3, I’ll be p!ssed!

My father worked there when it was the govt aircraft factory, way way way back when.

Still can't forgive King for Jettisoning the 2nd best player I have seen since Rob Flower. Disgrace!

`Clarrie had his papers well and truly marked before King arrived. The moment Goodwin was given the shove it was only a matter of time before Oliver and Trac followed, one way or another. May should have been part of that trio as well, but no-one wanted to touch him, just as no-one wanted to touch Oliver.

Clean broom and all that.

I didn’t sign a multi year Huge Contract and then go off the rails, weeks later…

Nobody is perfect, that is a Fact, but Clarry had little respect for the MFC as a whole for a long time and to still be pulling such a large amount of cash 💰 out of us is a very ordinary situation.

It may not bother you, but I despise it…

The Club did everything for Clarry and he gave us the finger….

Having known well, a lot of my friends as now deceased addicts, whether the reason being a friend of old or just wrong person at wrong time, I never judge.

I hear you, but a signature on a contract should be honourable

I'm sure he's in ripping nick just like last year.

We'll see..

Good for him, perhaps shows that moving him on was the best for all concerned.

(He says through gritted teeth.)

Nup just stating FACTS !! THIS is already coming back to haunt!

Just because he plays well for the Giants doesn't mean he was going to rediscover things with us.

Like many before him, probably needed the change of scenery. I wish him well.

Maybe the pies have had a mass membership resignation response.

Well Picket I'm more than happy to have a great team man and upstanding citizen in Steele in our side and he will more than compensate for Clarry cracking the you know what and leaving.

He'll find away to stuff up again. Watch this space. A leopard doesn't change it's spots. He's nothing but trouble

After watching the Demons today, I'm now glad to see the end of Oliver (and Petracca)

They're both gone - Cya

Well Docs Demons I would be more than happy if great Citizen Steele had achieved HALF of what Clarry has in his career! Indeed I would!

Oliver is a mercenary and a freeloader

He sapped $Millions out of our club and then decided to lay down the tools for 3 years

And the club was then forced to still pay him millions to get rid of the immature brat. He'll never grow up

The only club that was prepared to take him on was a no-account 'franchise' with money to burn (the AFL's money)

Back in the day, he'd get cleaned up, but he'll find a way to self-destruct so there's no need to bother

A classic case of the money going to the head of a fool

What would you know?

You want to hero-worship an individual who along with his prima donna mate (Petracca) helped to bring your own club down?

It's club first, you should have learnt that from your playing days (if indeed, you did actually play)

And even if you did play, you learnt nothing

You keep banging on about your mercenary mate, you'll keep hearing from me (and others)

Calm down, it was against Collingwood's B team in February.

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
