    We actually DON'T need to do the trade.

    I'm not guessing how you negotiate. I've some experience. The first rule is to have a firm grasp of what you want and what you're prepared to offer. The second and only other rule is , stick very close to that or dont do a deal. Very important if you aren't doing the negotiations yourself make sure whoever is has a backbone.
