Was that the biggest 3/4 time comeback in the games history?

That was. We just suffered the worst 3/4 time loss in AFL history.

What a DISGRACEFUL effort. I’m completely gutted, and more angry than I’ve ever been with my team! They are lucky that I’m a ‘rusted on’ 50+ year member.

Said it a few weeks back, but Clayton Oliver ... sad to watch.

The bias commentary on Fox was pox.

As were we.

Please retire off Goody.

Saints kick the first three in a few minutes and Goody is a deer in headlights.

And once again poor kicking has cost us.

I genuinely feel sick.

Nearly the same I felt after 186.

Sorry Goody. Thanks for the flag but that's it for me.

What's Nathan Buckley's ph number?

I turned it on at the beginning of the 3rd quarter due to family gathering. Turned it off 4 minutes later after they kicked 3 straight, saying to myself "we'll lose it from here by under a goal".

Gutted. Poor leadership, really poor. Poor coaching. Poor attitude.

Absolute evidence changes are required. I think this loss is a sign that we might be becoming a mess again.

That was embarrassing. That last quarter was beyond unacceptable. Im sorry, there needs to be consequences, and no flipping ‘learnings’.

in a way, is this a good thing? final nail in goodwins coffin. he can go out a drought breaking premiership coach, and he should hang the boots up before it gets worse. hope we can get horse.

waiting to confirm my 2026 membership on that blessed notification

I have changed my mind Goodwin should be sacked tonight. It was so predictable.

I was tossing up downgrading considering I've been paying for a premium seat on level 2 and haven't been going much this year.

I don't think I'll even bother downgrading. This has made up my mind.

Luckily we're united and love each other. That was the performance of a team who are rudderless and have no system to stop momentum. Goodwin can go forth and multiply. Surely he is now gone. I feel sick.

I choose to believe that was a professional tank, because the alternative would be that we are the softest, unfittest bunch of pea hearts of all time.

We got our eye on some buffed up headless chook running around in the forward line of a WAFL club that we can take for Pick 22 instead of Pick 25? #Tank

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

When looking back at the disastrous end to the game, I find it a waste of time to concentrate on the final few moments when utter confusion reigned. Forget the 6-6-6 mess, the failure to mark the most dangerous man on the field, the inability to seal the game when opportunities presented themselves to Clayton Oliver, Harry Petty and Charlie Spargo, the vision of match winning players of recent weeks in Kozzy Pickett and Jake Melksham spending helpless minutes on the interchange bench and the powerlessness of seizing the opportunity to slow the tempo of the game down in those final moments.

  • CASEY: Sandringham

The Casey Demons rebounded from a sluggish start to manufacture a decisive win against Sandringham in the final showdown, culminating a quarter century of intense rivalry between the fluctuating alignments of teams affiliated with AFL clubs Melbourne and St Kilda, as the Saints and the Zebras prepare to forge independent paths in 2026. After conceding three of the first four goals of the match, the Demons went on a goal kicking rampage instigated by the winning ruck combination of Tom Campbell with 26 hitouts, 26 disposals and 13 clearances and his apprentice Will Verrall who contributed 20 hitouts. This gave first use of the ball to the likes of Jack Billings, Bayley Laurie, Riley Bonner and Koltyn Tholstrup who was impressive early. By the first break they had added seven goals and took a strong grip on the game. The Demons were well served up forward early by Mitch Hardie and, as the game progressed, Harry Sharp proved a menace with a five goal performance. Emerging young forwards Matthew Jefferson and Luker Kentfield kicked two each but the former let himself down with some poor kicking for goal.
Young draft talent Will Duursma showed the depth of his talent and looks well out of reach for Melbourne this year. Kalani White was used sparingly and had a brief but uneventful stint in the ruck.

  • PREGAME: West Coast

The Demons return to the scene of the crime on Saturday to face the wooden spooners the Eagles at the Docklands. Who comes in and who goes out? Like moving deck chairs on the Titanic.

It's Game Day and there are only 5 games to go. Can the Demons find some consistency and form as they stagger towards the finish line of another uninspiring season?
