Nth could start favourites let that sink in.

didn’t kentfield kick terribly in the twos? and we want him in?

agree Jeffo has to be out but maybe we go smaller?

Kentfield and Windsor kicked 2.6 combined

I think they have earned the right to join the fun!

If Fritsch is not omitted something is seriously wrong.

This.

Good enough for Lever, good enough for Tmac, certainly good enough for Fritsch!

I want to see Rivers and Chin spend 50% of the game in the middle

Losing to Norf twice in a season might just be the end of me

Spargo for Sharp and Fritsch to sub would do me, give the concussion guys an extra week.

We need big changes but Casey is so devoid of talent.

No point exposing Kentfield when he had no preseason unless his Casey form becomes undeniable. It’s good, not undeniable yet.

Also think Jeffo is getting judged a little harshly. He hit 2 targets inside 50 today (JVR and Kolt for the unpaid free kick) which alone puts him ahead of most of the side. Give him one more against a lesser opposition.

Based on that, he'll fit right in.

Not sure if the 2 concussed boys return.

Drop Fritch and leave him there for the rest of the season. His efforts are not worthy of a senior spot. Sharp can go to Casey and play a full game and KOlt cannot be promoted until he earns his spot with some outstanding form at Casey. Not sure about Lever either he got all his kicks from marks but looked slow and is struggling with any ball below his knees. Clarry I have finally conceded is not the player he was and should probably go to Casey for a stint (mighty expensive VFL player)

The trouble is who is breaking down the door at Casey to get promoted.

Is there any confirmation about Xierri and a concussion? LDU is definitely out

it’s really hard to give AF

pretty much reverse death riding essendon is the only thing keeping me watching

Out Oliver, Fritsch, Jefferson Tholstrop & Sharp

In Laurie Windsor Kenterfield, Culley & Tmac

Tmac to the backline

Throw Lever forward.

Will that work.. (Ricky ) ....w v f knows ... but could be fun.

Not like anything matters much for the rest of the year. So what the hey

Roll out the barrel

I may give a F once we hear the news about the change of HC.

CHin has dropped off as season has gone on, same as every other season!

it will be good to have a new guy to blame

I mean, the reality is just letting Simon go won't be enough.

But hopefully a new guy can revitalise our list and stops playing favourites. Add to that being ruthless and really shaking up the list for next season with some key trades.

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
