Jefferson is our new stephen Pitt.

Dominates the vfl but comes into the seniors & bombs

Much needed laugh. I saw quite a few 2000s Zebras games

I’m sorry but I see absolutely nothing in Jefferson or Kolt. Not even a highlight that gives me a tickle of hope.

I’d play them in VFL rest of the year. After one more preseason and next year - if they haven’t shown anything, move em on.

I’d rather see the opposite and give them a run at AFL for the rest of the year, I doubt we are going to find any magic bullets with the players on our list by years end, so may as well give them a series of games.

Most of us don't care, unless there is real change in many areas... Coaching staff and playing list for starters.

I’m done

This list may not be good enough to win a flag, but it’s certainly got enough talent to be better than a bottom 4 side.

It’s a joke that we find ourselves where we are with absolutely no injuries.

Need to

Nope. Try something else that has a better chance of succeeding Lentfield or AJ when he returns. There is not a competitive bone in his body. Kolt on the other hand tries hard but has zero game awareness.

Pathetic from Melksham

you are a leader. take your time and kick it from 25m out

3.5. Should have at least 6 goals

spoiled a great game

Brad Green is great person and board need to make a decision whenever the new president & ceo starts which sums up our club, to say thanks Goody but it’s just not working and our club can’t accept bottoming out & returning to the dark days!

Don’t be surprised if Trac & Oliver request trades & I wonder if the players are sending a message on lever getting dropped

Trade who ever has currency and start again.

Steven Smith and Co you must be watching this [censored].

The excuses have run out unfortunately.

I have nothing positive to reflect on today and going forward or may Kentfield kicking 3 today that is it.

😡😡😡Melkshan set shot 20 m straight in front - no straight drop punt but side on - MISS !!

Agree. I've already decided I'm not going to our final game. I'm not sitting there watching the filth beat us & watch them celebrating finishing top. And I sat through the 186 game

That is all on the Fitness and Coaching Staff

Greeny should be on the phone to Longmire tonight

Goodwin should resign after this match

He has officially killed a very strong list

Thanks for the flag Fritta but time to look elsewhere. Game has gone past him.

Adds absolutely nothing to this forward line and useless up the ground also.

Played our grand final against the filth and just threw in the towel after that ... very very very disappointing. !!

That sort of comment is what Pies fans say. Should never be uttered by a MFC supporter.

How do you miss that fritta???

  • Thank You Simon Goodwin

As Demon fans, we’ve ridden a rollercoaster of emotions over the decades; the heartbreaks, the near misses, the wooden spoons, and the endless waiting. But through it all, we clung to hope. And then came Simon Goodwin. Before he ever wore red and blue, he was a champion in his own right. A five-time All-Australian, two-time Best and Fairest, and two-time premiership hero and Captain with Adelaide, Simon Goodwin was always destined to lead. When he transitioned from the field to the coach's box, first as an assistant at Essendon, he began shaping a new legacy.

  • PREVIEW: Western Bulldogs

Long ago and far away, the Melbourne Football Club replaced its coach in difficult circumstances after the team suffered a devastating loss. In the aftermath, I penned the following words: “Then came the politics, the intrigue, the axing, the sound of the football world laughing at a club, the circling of the media vultures, the reinvention of history, the anger, the irony, the pathos, the hurt on the face of the president, the dignified departure of the coach, and the determination of the newly appointed caretaker.” Today, we’re back in the same place although one difference here is that the coach who was terminated this time is Simon Goodwin, the man who four years ago

  • REPORT: West Coast

The Charles Dickens novel, A Tale of Two Cities, opens with, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, …”  This phrase highlights many of the significant challenges that humanity encounters in life, ranging from experiencing remarkable highs to living in times of despair. This is a concept that should resonate with all supporters of the Melbourne Football Club this morning as they reflect on its comprehensive 83-point victory over the struggling West Coast Eagles at Marvel Stadium. The outcome proved beyond doubt that they are the worst of clubs and that we are the best of the worst.

The Demons return to town fresh off a thumping win over the back-to-back wooden spooners, the West Coast Eagles, played in front of a sparse crowd at Marvel Stadium, the same venue that hosted last week's heartbreaking loss.
