Last 3 mins was no risk footy

But I'm glad to see we aren't just slamming it on the boot down the line and hoping for the best. Defensive structure is great...just need more class forward of centre

So we have to win the last quarter, have we done that this year yet.

last week by a point or two

I’ve been a Jeffo believer but he looked miles off it today. Losing faith. Perhaps he was just a miss. That 2022 draft looks pretty ordinary across the board in hindsight.

The form of Langford and Lindsay however, wow Lee. That play from Lindsay on the far side was unbelievable.

Leading at 3 quarter time. I’ll take that

Kolt on Jefferson off

Got no idea why Jefferson was even selected. We played one man down in the forward line with him there. He and concrete hands struggling big time but what an effort by the rest. Keep it up for another 30 minutes and the game is ours

Jeffo is a loooooooong way off AFL level @picket fence

He won’t make it. Experiment was over before it even started. What did the recruiters see in him? It’s not even close. Sorry not to be bashing up our own players but there is absolutely nothing he has done right.

Any chance we can come out and kick 4 unanswered goals, then play keeping’s off for the rest??!

We have performed very well. Contested, uncontested, the game is on our terms and we're playing somewhat how we'd like to.

If we could be a little cleaner, if we could be a little more clinical in front of goal, if we could keep defensive pressure high we can easily come away with a win.

I'm calling it. Jefferson is an absolute bust. All the intensity of a wet lettuce

You can't teach that

Langford 3 goals.. Fritsch, JVR & Jeffo ZERO goals.. Howww does that happen.. in perrrrfect conditions. 🤦‍♂️

WTF is the reasoning behind our forwards going up one handed for marks???

Other arm held?

this is going to be longest 30 minutes ever

I can’t remember watching a more frustrating game.

You must have the memory of a goldfish 🤣

Sciliy has given Fritsch an absolute bath.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
