Still haven’t been contacted yet about changing seats.

i cancelled my reserved seats membership for me and my daughter, and have been put on a wait list for adifferent bay. No idea when they will start the call around for these

I got a call yesterday, I have AFL membership but considering adding on MFC reserved seats. I'd give them a ring as they've started looking at it.

do reserved seats still attract the extra grand final guarantee tax?

from what I can see, all resrved seating attracts the mandatory grand final ticket tax. there doesnt seem to be a way to get just the seat. My reserved seats for myself, and two children (18 and 15) cost $1500.00, not cheap.

Call the club. I upgraded from a Reserved Seat to a Trident membership because I called them and was a bit pushy.

Don’t wait to be upgraded, tell them you want to pay for a bette seat and let them go to work. The people I dealt with were super helpful. The waiting list idea doesn’t work. I waited on it for years. Call em.

So received an email today from the club saying if I wanted a card or scarf I had to opt in.

I guess that's okay.

I click the button to opt in and it takes me to Ticketmaster. Terrible set up, but okay. I then follow the questions and answer them, thinking it's all sorted, and then it takes me back to the same questions again. Over and over again.

Anyone had this problem?

I feel like this club can't even get the very basics right off the field at the moment.

Make it easy for your members FFS.

I now have no idea whether it's logged my answers.

Is it correct that we had the biggest membership drop off in 2024 of all clubs?

We must have been close to having the biggest fall in ladder position in the H&A season, I'd imagine those would correlate.

Yep, and I feel I already opted in about a month ago. So go figure

Surely that's a Ticketmaster/AFL issue not a club issue.

Sure, but why use Ticketmaster at all?

I remember reading somewhere that all clubs use Ticketmaster for their membership. If that is true, then I suspect it is an AFL thing rather than the clubs choice.

Maybe, maybe not. I am a Carlton Member as well as a Dees Member and whilst both apps are clunky and not particularly user friendly I have definitely had more issues with the MFC software compared to the CFC software (they should be the same/similar). In 2023 each time I wanted to go to an MFC gane I had to contact the club to send me an email with a separate bar coded ticket attached. Was annoying. That was despite a dozen times deleting and re-installing the app. They said they will send me a membership card this year (CFC do this automatically, no need to opt in). Just my observations based on past recent experience.

I just contacted Membership and advised them that payment hadn’t come out of my accounts on 01/11/24, cheerful young fella says oh yes they have, your membership’s are linked with your daughters and she has been debited. I said she won’t be happy about that, then said that has now been fixed Mr H and your memberships will now be charged to your accounts. I said thank you I will sort it out with my daughter. It all took about 2 minutes.😁😁😁

After sustaining a torn ACL in the final match of the 2023 season Jake added a bit to the attack late in the 2024 season upon his return. 2024 Player Reviews: #3 Christian Salem

The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence. The move of “Disco” to a key forward post looks like bearing fruit. Turner has good hands, moves well and appears to be learning the forward craft well. Will be an interesting watch in 2025. 2024 Player Reviews: #13 Clayton Oliver

Lack of preparation after a problematic preseason prevented Oliver from reaching the high standards set before last year’s hamstring woes. He carried injury right through the back half of the season and was controversially involved in a potential move during the trade period that was ultimately shut down by the club. BLOODY BLUES by Meggs

The conclusion to Narrm’s home and away season was the inevitable let down by the bloody Blues  who meekly capitulated to the Bombers.   The 2024 season fixture handicapped the Demons chances from the get-go with Port Adelaide, Brisbane and Essendon advantaged with enough gimme games to ensure a tough road to the finals, especially after a slew of early season injuries to star players cost wins and percentage.     As we strode confidently through the gates of Prin

Melbourne’s most important player who dominated the first half of the season until his untimely injury in the Kings Birthday clash put an end to his season. At the time, he was on his way to many personal honours and the club in strong finals contention. When the season did end for Melbourne and Petracca was slowly recovering, he was engulfed in controversy about a possible move of clubs amid claims about his treatment by the club in the immediate aftermath of his injury.
