To be fair there’s a story about clubs approaching Nick Daicos

This is prime hunting season for nuffies masquerading as journalists

Kozzie is a jet.

His output shouldn’t change a bit with the loss of one or both leaving.

Only thing they have to do is make a team to allow him to still be as good as he can be.

No one in their right mind would have thought on 11 June that Goodwin was anything other than in danger of being sacked at any time in the upcoming 18 months. No matter how hard he might have wanted to deny it in his mind.

Trac wanted out last year. Clarry’s issues are well known to the playing group.

It might be surprising that it’s all happened in 4 months, but that’s all. None of this has happened totally out of the blue.

Also, the absolute gall of Kane to say Koz has been let down by the club.

All year Kane’s been saying we can’t keep playing Trac and Oliver in the midfield.

If we’d kept them and made no changes into 2026, he’d have said the same thing - “all well and good to reward Pickett with the money but by continuing to play Petracca and Oliver in that midfield, they’re just not letting him be the best player he can be”.

Kane flip flops all the time to just suit his own narrative. Imagine if we make finals next year and Blues are bottom 4, he'll say how Guerra and King are geniuses for blowing the place up while Carlton have let down Cripps etc for not moving on Voss. Yet no one will pull Cornes up on what he said 12 months ago which opposes this.

This is such a non story. There is no world where we entertain a kozzie trade. It’ll be fine

Every single scenario would be factored in at the negotiation stage.

7 years is a long time and a lot changes.

Now he's THE MAN

Kozzie is young enough to be in the next Dees team that is a real contender for the flag.

And young enough to potentially live long enough to see the Blues win another.

He's not immortal.

JEFFFFFFFFFFFOOOOOOOO.

Of course it's possible that Kosi is wrapped with the course of events over the last month.

Or is he? Not according to Kano.

Planting seeds for the next 3-4 years. When we finish bottom 4 over the next 3 years watch the media come for him.

Lemmie guess - he'd be a good fit for Port? [censored] off Kane Cornes.

Pure crystal balling from Kano. He might be right, he might not be right.

You could have the same take with any long term contracted player right now.

F off Kane - there’s a billion trades going down today, shut up and report on what’s actually happening you ex-firefighting mongoose

  • CASEY: Richmond

The winds finally returned to Casey Fields for the Demons’ third home game of the VFL season, and its impact was immediate. After two opening rounds played in uncharacteristically fine conditions, the Anzac Day clash brought back the familiar gusty conditions that have been a feature of the region at this time of the year.
Forced to kick into the breeze first, the slow-starting Demons faced a tricky opening against an enthusiastic young Tigers outfit. Casey responded by turning the contest into a scramble, pressuring Richmond into errors and missed targets. The tactic proved crucial, keeping the game tight for three and a half quarters before the Demons pulled away with the autumn wind at their backs.

  • REPORT: Richmond

It seemed as if the whole purpose of the Anzac Eve clash at the MCG between the Demons and the Tigers was building toward that single, unforgettable moment when Kozzie Pickett soared above Campbell Gray and all but fittingly etched his name onto the face of the 2026 Frank ‘Checker’ Hughes Medal.
