True, but no way would May have gone off. Harmes offered but was not allowed. Was a selfless act by Harmsey.

And I consider as Team first was our mantra Harmesy should not have been the only one offering to be selfless. May stepping forward would have been ticked off

In what world is Battle worth a million a year?

If I was Frost I'd be worried.  Sicily, Barrass and Battle

Plus Scrimshaw, Grainger-Barras and Blanck

If we rate any of the last 3 we should target them, no way they can get a game

Thanks Dubdee.  Agree that hawks will be stretched to fit all their defence in.  Jai Serong also had a standout 2024 in the VFL for box hill hawks.

get jai in 2024, then target caleb in 2025?

it's high time we get another quality player out of flagmantle - white, langdon... add serong we'd be ahead of the ledger (i'm ignoring chisholm and balic) with farmer and jackson the big names who've gone the other way?

in some respected i'd prefer andy brayshaw to caleb serong, but they'd both be key to our midfield, as would hayden young be

Probably to split and get Baker and keep a good pick.

Turn pick 3 into Baker and Allan perhaps, not a bad deal for them.

A lot of good/interesting points in that article.

Dare I say that life is all about the "brand" these days

I’m told the Bailey Smith to Geelong is done and he’s even been told he’ll get Number 2.

kornes is such a numpty

teams want to deal with each other as they have to EVERY YEAR for the rest of the afl's existence

it's not like there's more teams that they can trade with outside the league

look at how bad the reputation has been for the peptides to deal with for over 20 years; you don't want to have even the perception that you're hard to deal with as it stains you for players, managers, other clubs, and - ultimately - the medja

he's such a stephen a smith wannabe

Sam Wicks from Swans to Gold Coast will probably happen.

further proof that the nga and zone selections helps them retain local players eh...

Bailey Smith has formally requested to be traded from the Bulldogs, to the great surprise of nobody at all.

I'd be most surprised if he's not playing for Geelong next year.

Geelong don’t have a good pick to give up, so this could get interesting. He was pick 7 in ‘18, so Dogs are going to want something similar.

What reasons does Bailey Smith want out for?

Dogs don't have enough TikTok followers

He wants his ripped Abs to be seen by as many as possible

I thought scrimshaw was very good against the puppy dogs

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.

  • CASEY: Northern Bullants

The Casey Demons travelled to a windy Cramer Street, Preston yesterday and blew the Northern Bullants off the ground for three quarters before shutting up shop in the final term, coasting to a much-needed 71-point victory after leading by almost 15 goals at one stage. It was a pleasing performance that revived the Demons’ prospects for the 2025 season but, at the same time, very little can be taken from the game because of the weak opposition. These days, the Bullants are little more than road kill. The once proud club, situated behind the Preston Market in a now culturally diverse area, is currently facing significant financial and on-field challenges, having failed to secure a win to date in 2025.

  • GAMEDAY: Sydney

It’s Game Day, and the Demons have a golden opportunity to build on last week’s stirring win by toppling Sydney at the MCG. A victory today would keep them firmly in the hunt for a finals spot and help them stay in touch with the pack chasing a place in the Top 8. Can the Dees make it two in a row and bring down the Swans?
