They are a lovely bunch of human beings. Wanted to boot Hinkley a few weeks ago and now love him again.

When I think of ferals I think of them.

They’re worse than Collingwood supporters, and Carlton, Essendon and Richmond supporters. Put it this way: I’ve only ever had a bottle of water thrown at my head from a car once. Yep, black and teal scarf hanging out the window flapping in the wind. All class. 🙄

What a wonderful human BBB is. Humble, down to earth, family man, great clubman. I could go on and on. I shed a few tears when I watched him addressing the players yesterday.

I remember when we drafted him, my son who is a North supporter said we would be lucky to get him out on the park and his body was shot then. So glad BBB proved him wrong.

I am sure Ben will go on and do amazing things away from footy but hope he still stays involved with the club. ❤️💙

That's disgusting. I've heard this before too. I only have the TV to show me insight but when they do pan onto fans they are ferals going off.

My mate and his dad went to a Port game years ago and he said he feared for his life, real mob mentality apparently amongst their fans at their home games. Although, he's a Collingwood fan so some exemptions can be afforded 😁

We went as a family in 2022, spent a week in Adelaide and overall it was a great experience.

However, if I wasn't alreayd convinced South Australians hate Victorians I was convinced by the time we headed to the pub for dinner on night 1.

Then the game, I can remember vebatim the quotes from my 9 year old daughter, all before quarter time:

  • Why are they saying those rude things about Gawny?
  • What they saying Fritsch's hairtcut looks like?
  • We don't use those words do we daddy?
  • Dad, I don't feel very safe here!

She was very quiet after quarter time.

Silver lining, we won by plenty and we all got ice creams to celebrate 😊

It is such a shame that BBB couldn’t play more games for us, i know he tried everything.

He was such an accurate shot at Goal from Long Range.

Just imagine keeping your mindset right whilst those Port Ferals were hurling absolute Filth at him…and then kicking truly from 50 on the Boundary.

Add your superlatives here...

(p.s. I hope ANB gets the same treatment from the Club and here on 'Land, next week. He's capable of response at BBB's level, too. Look forward to it.)

Yeah, well played big fella!

Thanks for the Premiership!!

Had to treat myself to "the best 17 minutes in the club's history" (BT)

From Q3 09:38 and Viney's attack and Harmesy's clearance to Fritta, Frittas next, BBB kicking his 2nd, Brayshaw's mark and goal to hit the lead...

Then later on BBB on the wing, busting a contest, winning the free kick, and kick I50 with 58 seconds to go in 3rd... we kick 3 goals in that 58 seconds, opened the last with 2 in a minute and the game is ours - there were many moments in ❤️💙🏆'21  -  but that BBB contest precipitated the onslaught that brought home the flag!

Love BBB ❤️💙🏆

This video is a downright disgrace.

Get the sound right FFS, media department.

I'm a film producer and I tell you, if this was delivered to me, I'd be on the phone and demanding someone do better.

Come on, this is an important media package and you've [censored] stuffed it.

Not [censored] good enough, Gary Pert.

This is what happens when you cut budgets.

Wonder if it's the YT copyright muting some of the sound.
The same vid of Xitter has sound.

Three goals in a winning GF team. A pretty good peg to hang your hat on.

Real strange, YT don't usually mute sections of videos that are copyrighted, they usually just take them down and issue desist requests.

Doss anyone have an email address for the marketing and comms department? I've got a good idea for music for a potential tribute video on Fri. Not a joke BTW

Give the YouTube link a watch...

noticed the sound issues last night on YT too - very odd

It's not good enough. It's a short video. Give it a watch after you've uploaded.

It's going out on your socials and impacts on the overall football club's brand.

I can only think that something different happens with YT's compression to audio when it was uploaded there. Possibly stricter parameters than Insta/the website etc.

I do know for a fact that if the audio and video track aren't exactly the same length as each other it completely stuffs up the audio sync on YT.

As you said though, always test.

He was a very good Mark and very accurate Kicking Style, he should be remembered for a lot more than just his Run up. ( know you are joking)
His mind is still in the game…

I think he will make a great Coach in Future

If he had a “ normal “ run up would he not have worn out his knees so soon? 🙄🤗

  • NON-MFC: Round 06

The Easter Round kicks off in style with a Thursday night showdown between Brisbane and Collingwood, as both sides look to solidify their spots inside the Top 4 early in the season. Good Friday brings a double-header, with Carlton out to claim consecutive wins when they face the struggling Kangaroos, while later that night the Eagles host the Bombers in Perth, still chasing their first victory of the year. Saturday features another marquee clash as the resurgent Crows look to rebound from back-to-back losses against a formidable GWS outfit. That evening, all eyes will be on Marvel Stadium where Damien Hardwick returns to face his old side—the Tigers—coaching the Suns at a ground he's never hidden his disdain for. Sunday offers two crucial contests where the prize is keeping touch with the Top 8. First, Sydney and Port Adelaide go head-to-head, followed by a fierce battle between the Bulldogs and the Saints. Then, Easter Monday delivers the traditional clash between two bitter rivals, both desperate for a win to stay in touch with the top end of the ladder. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

What were they thinking? I mean by “they” the coaching panel and team selectors who chose the team to play against an opponent who, like Melbourne, had made a poor start to the season and who they appeared perfectly capable of beating in what was possibly the last chance to turn the season around. It’s no secret that the Demons’ forward line is totally dysfunctional, having opened the season barely able to average sixty points per game which means there has been no semblance of any system from the team going forward into attack. Nevertheless, on Saturday night at the Adelaide Oval in one of the Gather Round showcase games, Melbourne, with Max Gawn dominating the hit outs against a depleted Essendon ruck resulting from Nick Bryan’s early exit, finished just ahead in clearances won and found itself inside the 50 metre arc 51 times to 43. The end result was a final score that had the Bombers winning 15.6 (96) to 8.9 (57). On balance, one could expect this to result in a two or three goal win, but in this case, it translated into a six and a half goal defeat because they only managed to convert eight times or 11.68% of their entries. The Bombers more than doubled that. On Thursday night at the same ground, the losing team Adelaide managed to score 100 points from almost the same number of times inside 50.
