We deserve to be losing. Could see from the start of the second quarter. Cue in the rack now they can’t get back in it

Midfield getting cut up since quarter time. Not looking like we'll be playing finals this year sadly.

How that's wasnt a free to Carry in the middle, give me strength!

Onya Jack, fantastic goal

Cudos to the umps for making Vines even more angry after that last Toby duck [censored]

Is the AFL the only sport in the world that you play a team actually owned by the competition you’re playing in?

Falling into a tackle is high contact this week.

Unless your name is Chandler.

GtG - very harsh to say the cue in the rack.  They have outplayed us.

What a fantastic mark by Hogan     Sadly not for us anymore.

It's the only sport in the world where most umpiring decisions are based on the umpires interpretation so they are right no matter which way they pay the decision

💰??

My favourite call from him tonight was when he made Windsor go back behind his mark and not let him play on… from a mark

Maxy first hands but mark paid to Jesse

Arm wrestles haven’t been our forte for a while, we try and shut it down.

How about we go on the aggressive.

Feel like they’ve barely made a mistake in the middle. Us on the other hand is one after another.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
