Who do we think would take being sub better; Gawn or May?

Max wouldn't look good in a vest whereas May could just be mistaken for one of the Village People.

Mayzie it is.

No Max this week.
And I can’t ever remember us naming an out (Woey) as managed before.

The closer the game gets the more my confidence rises. Even though that’s  always been true for me I’m feeling pretty confident about this week. Let’s face it does anyone here seriously think Freo are better than us?

Didn't finish the Casey game and allegedly copped a corkie.

Guess it's going to be a simple swap of Woewodin for Laurie as sub.

Or billings

I don’t have high hopes for him, but he certainly earned another crack at it after his game for Casey on Sunday.

Fullarton gets a free ticket to Perth to watch the game. I suspect he’s there keep the Dockers guessing.

I’d prefer to go in unchanged but I trust Goody after his selection master class against the Bombers.

I’m still fascinated by who goes out next week when Max comes in. Is Sunday Petty’s last chance? Or is he a permanent fixture and they’ll demote someone like the Kolt to sub?

From what I’ve seen Verrall is way better than Fullarton as a football player. Why is he being ignored?

Yep Laurie for Woey

Freo have clearly been better than us in 3 of the last 4 meetings.

So looking at the squad.. I’ve got vibes on it being Fullarton in for Woey (managed I can only guess means load mgmt & needing full VFL game time?!)

Why? That part I’m still grappling with.. jsut feeling that they didn’t like look of Petty in Ruck or want to see if Fullarton can play up fwd whilst giving JVR a rest OR wanting to have JVR up forward MORE and thus JVR Becomes 2nd ruck and Fullarton gets the bulk load.. although his 5 hit-out VFL effort doesn’t scream PLAY ME but around ground he was solid..

Personally I’d bring in Jeffo and keep JVR ruck, but it’s risky & this plays a role.. just think playing TF feels like the change based on ext interchange named!

Lets beat Freo and show them all the WA talent they passed on in the draft:

  • Kozzi (they has 3 chances to draft him)
  • Rivers
  • Tholstrop
  • JVR
  • McVee

These guys have been among our best in the last few weeks and are the best WA youth running around.  Did I miss any?

Luker Kentfield in the not-too-distant future 👊🏼

Windsor named on bench. Anything in that?

Woey needs a decent game so makes sense

Fullarton and Disco named bench, potential for Fullarton to get a run and Disco sub? Try Fullarton and if not working revert to last weeks line up?

I’m already on it PF! Been on it since Queen’s birthday last year when we bonded over snags in bread at Fed Square. I’m just not as confident as you are that he’s ready yet.

Fullarton to play . You can bank on this . Petty to be sub or emerg.

He's been on that since Rnd 5 vs Brissvegas where he contributed roughly the same rating as Salem on 7% game time (subbed off injured with Hammy in the first Q) and ranked as the worst rated player in the AFL for season 2024 (at one point in between then and now) but still going strong nearly three months later.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
