Up on the Melbourne FC website that Jaguar are leaving as co-principal partner, with an announcement on our new co-principal sponsor coming soon.

Anyone heard anything about who this may be?

As a result of Jaguar leaving I can confirm the next car I buy will NOT be a Jaguar.  Purely out of respect to MFC and not due to my sad looking bank account aha

Sad to see Jaguar leave but we have had a long relationship with Hertz and it is great that they have stepped up to Co Principal Partner with the mighty Dees. Great to see Hibbo and Neita in the add as well.😁😁

For all the fashionistas out there, yes this yellow logo is visually offensive, but you know what isn't visually offensive? Having a positive bank balance!

Couldn't they just use all white letters and no big yellow square?

Not that we'll ever know but wonder if this was Jaguar not being prepared to pay more than Hertz or them just deciding to not sponsor Dees anymore. Hope it's the former. I would imagine the cost of sponsorship is a lot more now than it was when they first came on board.

Sorry ElDiablo but that would dilute their Brand and their brand is quite strong and well known.

Not best pleased about this.  Hertz has a very poor history in regards to ethical behavior, particularly in the way it has treated employees.  You'd think that a club that has finished Top 4 regularly and won a flag could attract someone more in line with our own values.

Unethical sponsors is the go-to for champion clubs.

Collingwood has Emirates, KFC, LaTrobe Financial, and Nike.

An all-flavours ice cream box of worker exploitation, dishonest finance, actual slavery, and fatbergs.

I googled to check something about Emirates airlines; the CEO/quasi-owner is of course a son of the previous god-king of Dubai.

"Ahmed's career in the aviation industry began in 1985 when he was appointed president of the Dubai Department of Civil Aviation (DCA). Emirates, the national carrier, was launched at the same time, with Ahmed appointed chairman."

Love it. Pure Collingwood. He even married his cousin.

I have found Hertz great to deal with both here and in the U.S .Terrific service and always honour the MFC discount.

I think the purpose is for the logo to be an contrast to the club colours.

It needs to stand out.

That's why Hertz choose to sponsor us and not the tigers, where the logo would blend in.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May
