Just a few points i would like to add pls...

While he is probably best 22 we don't know how long Melk will be out, nor if he'll decide to continue by the time he does return.  Most likely he will but 11 months is a long time in footy.  Especially at this point in his career.

So i would think McAdam replaces Melk there at least until he returns.  There is no McAdam regardless.  Is that not a done deal?

Deakyn Smith delisted assuming that's the Smith you're referring for Casey in the BP.

Hibberd & Dunstan retired.

Moose has moved on.

Grundy a maybe but highly unilkely i would have thought given the smoke.

Jordon and Harmes need an asterisk also yes?

That's the best 44 for the year the next installment won't have D.Smith, Hibberd, Dunstan and anybody else who leaves during trade week.

If we go with Petty and JVR as KPFs for MFC with Fritsch and McAdam in support then we're going to have a massive logjam of tall forwards at Casey assuming early season fitness: TMac, BBB, Smith, Schache, Fullarton, Jefferson, KFW - assuming Verrall leads the Casey ruck.

I'd be playing at least one back.

Put a line through TMac, BBB   

Fullerton will be first in line for a call up if one of Gawn, Petty, van Rooyen go down

Jefferson may play a different role due to the forward depth we have at both levels

Verrall will be 2nd ruck to Fullerton imo

    FNQ will be hot and sultry this Thursday night when the mighty Demons take on the highflying Hawks at up there Cazalys Stadium in Cairns.   The Demons once again rebrand for Indigenous Round as ‘Narrm’, the Woi Wurrung name for Melbourne in the language of the traditional owners.   Narrm has surged back up the ladder and sits just outside the eight on percentage with 5 wins. Our opponents Hawthorn sit second with 8 wins and have been become really offensive.

    The rejuvenated Demons out tussled the Tigers by 13 points to make it four wins on the trot on Saturday which means that the slight possibility of a finals appearance remains alive in 2024.
